Makes a difference to me for a few reasons:
1) I hate college OT. I love that LSU beat the gumps already, but it was in OT and if I had my way, we'd go back to ties. I see this as an opportunity to beat Bama in regulation - to at least pretend to toss out the result from that stupid OT, and pick up where we left off - tied after 4 quarters. Now play 4 more.
2) Last time LSU was handed a patsy - tOSU - and OSU would have been the same thing. Bama is the 2nd best team in the country - period. They didn't win their division, no, but that's only because the 1st best team in the country is in it!
3) To my knowledge, an LSU win would make the first ever 10-0 record against SEC schools in one season.
4) If we win by 9 or more points, we can claim to have beaten every opponent we've played by two possessions - which in my book is the definition of decisive victory.
