They were there for me and my husband when our car broke down on the highway on March 27th of this year.
We both had forgotten our cell phones. The cop came up behind us and asked what was wrong. When we told him he then called for a tow truck and stayed with us for quite some time. He then took off and came back a little later and gave us bottled water because it was so hot out.
We had two cop cars stay with us off and on until the tow truck got there.
