Between 1 Oct and 29 Dec the Fed Govt was adding $2,784,792,473 dollars a day to the national debt.

Since the tax cuts kicked we are now adding $3,863,070,149 dollars a day to the national debt.

That is an additional $1,078,277,676 per day thanks to the tax cuts reducing revenue.

Think about that, the tax cuts are costing the Fed Govt more than 1 billion dollars per day since they were not accompanied with corresponding spending cuts.

anything that reduces revenue while not reducing spending drives us further into debt. It is a simple concept. If you are spending more than you make and then you get a pay cut and keep spending the same amount, you will go even further into debt.

The American people are the problem, they like you want your cake and to eat it too. The American people keep voting into power people that want expand and grow the size and expense of government. I think the point many are missing, is that no matter how much the government takes from the people, it will always spend way more. Is it greedy not wanting to throw your money down a rat hole? The republican's won't take on entitlements, and the dems want to expand them. Gator has a point here.
