I wouldn't vote for someone who had nothing good to say about himself.

However, if you had an ad with Obami Salaami raping an Eight yr old girl.......that would MOST DEFINITELY TURN ME AGAINST the Anti-Obamarrhoids that made the ad.

Answer: NO. I would simply think that the people behind the ad are idiots. And, if Obami Salaami's opponent expressly approved that ad...... then, I'd simply not vote.

Come to think of it, Mohahahahahahmed, the Historically documented THIEF, & MURDERING RAPIST (he boinked Ayesha when she was a child of 9 yrs) has turned me off......for that, and other reasons......BUT THIS HASN'T TURNED 1.5 MUSLIMS AGAINST THIS ABOMINATION.

I will tell you my story. I was working my first state level campaign for a guy I knew personally, and he pulled a dirty trick. I didn't withdraw my support or vote against him, as I thought "everyone does/would do the same thing". I felt all sophisticated and such-like.

Now? I'm not so sure. We got a good man in office from a policy standpoint, but personally he was riddled with personality "issues".

I still don't know if the "everyone does it" standard is the right one to apply....but I think if it happened again, I'd walk.

Sometimes, they are informative. We have basically that approach in ads for our gubernatorial candidates. Kasich calls Strickland (the incumbent) a job-killer and Strickland calls Kasich a Wall Streeter. If it goes on like this, both men will have to ladle on some POVs of their own just to add variety.

But the use of dirty tricks and/or truely offensive language is another matter. I support Kasich, but if he began calling Strickland a "Nazi", I don't think I would.
