Anyone notice

That when Obama care was ruled unconstitutional the government insisted on going ahead anyways .
and When the Wisconsin Legislation presumable legally passed a law that was signed into the law the government decided to halt it going into effect?Rather then having a proper trial ?
Anyone find this kind of behavior disturbing?

Absolutely it is disturbing and should be disturbing to all freedom loving people everywhere. In Wisconsin, in Arizona, and in various other states, we are seeing the courts stop the will of the lawmakers again and again, not because the law would cause irrevocable harm, but because of ideological perspective.

And in the White House we are seeing the President ignore the decree of the court.

In both cases, at gut level, there is every appearance of abuse of power. And it's coming so fast and from so many different directions that I think sometimes we the people are feeling pretty helpless to do anything about it. I hope the tax protest groups, 9/12ers, Tea Partiers, etc. though are taking good notes and will be cocked and ready for the next election.

Elections do have consequences. They determine what judges will interpret our laws. And they determine who makes the laws. And they determine what sort of integrity we put in high places.

He's either a communist or a nazi

can't be both

SURE HE CAN...

Tell that to the communists Hitler had killed
In the years 1913 and 1914 I expressed my opinion for the first time in various circles, some of which are now members of the National Socialist Movement, that the problem of how the future of the German nation can be secured is the problem of how Marxism can be exterminated.
-Adolf Hitler

Once again, I'm reminded of Arthur Koestler, who fled Germany to escape the Nazis when his fellow communists were being hunted down

The tyranny has come so slowly it is unnoticed
low flow toilets.
Cafe standards
CLF bulbs

I think a list of the infringing bureaucratic edicts should be listed so when a troglodyte elitist asks "What freedoms have you lost?, we can show them.

I think alot of folks make the mistake of thinking that people who feel like I do, think we feel this way because Obama is POTUS, but that is incorrect (at least with me).
Ive have seen this crap escalating for years.

It didnt start with Obama nor will it end with him.... but I for one plan to do everything in my power to reverse this awful trend.

One tolertarian type killing another tolertarian type. GOOD.

Kudos all around. Drinks on me.

As I said the target is fast moving and difficult to keep up with. And it includes big things like courts over turning the will of the people or the President overturning the ruling of the courts.

But it is also in a whole lot of little things.

Like sometime in the last few months, the colorful red, white, and blue flag graphic on the Department of Justice website was replaced with a dark, ominous looking black one.

See here:
Welcome to the United States Department of Justice

And the "Justice is Blind" logo was replaced with this quotation at the top of the home page:

"The common law is the will of mankind, issuing from the life of the people."

Don't bother to look for this among the Founders or prior justices from whom many great quotations could have been taken.

This one is usually attributed to C. Wilfred Jenks, Director-General of the U.N.'s International Labor Organization. In the 1930's, he was an advocate of the "international law" movement based on a concept that would impose global common law and included 'global workers' rights'.

On a side note, this is also why no one on the planet is now named "Wilfred."

One is Federal, and one is State.

I understand.

I understand.

But the JUDGE that RULED against it was FEDERAL...

Square that up...you cannot.

But two FEDERAL judges ruled in favor of it.

Which rules?

The current Justice Dept isn't even color blind.

Oh the hypocrisy.

On one had you have obama care that has been ruled UNCONSTITUTIONAL and is still being fast traced and forced down our throats.

And on the other hand you have the Defense of Marriage Act that that IS constitutional and being denied.

Happens all the time it would seem with him. Its a pick and choose what you recognize these days.
