Free market competition for available jobs should be the practice with government sector jobs.
Why do unions oppose that?
Why do they oppose opening up those jobs to the most qualified person for the job?
Why do they INSIST that ONLY a union member that already works there get the job first, even if they are not the most qualified?
By that I'm sure you mean...the person that will do the job for the least amount of money.
No, where did I state that?
I mean what I post. A job comes open with a job description AND a salary posted.
Everyone gets a shot at it.
Not the way government unions work. Socialism never works that way.
Union shops are not free market. Unions hate productivity and strive to support and promote the rights of their weakest link.
Explain how that helps anyone.
