Did you know there are 12 MIL people there and Moscow is a very western and international city. (for example-they have Irish Pubs) The folks that are ot commies are American nock offs. I was going to go there for New Year Eve 2000 but the travel advisor said not to because they were only geared to bizz class vistiors. so everything was real expensive.
