That deal the Orange Shit Gibbon made Taliban led to the release 5,000 Taliban Fighters, one of is now the leader of Afghanistan.

It's not about maps changing, it's about resolving the underlying conflict.
WWI didn't end German Nationalism and expansionism, it just delayed it for 20 years. The Korean war is still being fought as a cold war.
WWII ended German and Japanese nationalism and expansionism.
I don't disagree about resolving the underlying conflict but spending endless dollars to fund the Ukies will not end the conflict even if they won the war.

. . I mean, sure, Ukraine can attempt to continue their doomed crusade to keep territory populated by ethnic Russians, but the reality? When conflict starts, the political settlement is determined by the folks that hold the cards.
Ukraine is less dependent on fickle American aid than parochialAmericans think they are.
They learned not to count on the US and particularly not on Trump, who is a Putin’s pet.
Ukraine will fight for its freedom.
If we were the people we like to say we are, we would continue to support their efforts.
But we have a sniveling little coward in the White House, afraid to stand up for leadership and freedom the way every President from Roosevelt to Biden did.
