If Zelensky is like our crazy Democrat's here, then nothing will surprise me about his leadership or lack there of when it comes to de-escalating the situation in order to save his nation and people. By the looks of that place, it's evident that Zelensky is willing to have the most of that country destroyed before he'll come to a negotiating table and peace agreement talks.

Biden taking us out of the peace agreement and diplomacy negotiators role, has been yet another Biden failure of monumental proportions.

Some are suggesting that America caused Russia to think that the whole issue is America's attempt to encroach on Russia's borders.

Russia Tore down that wall and ended that threat of US/Nato encroachment.
 
Trump's faithful are not only coming together oo the waste of the taxpayers' money going into the war, they are also starting to talk about the MAD threat!

Now that's going to piss off the US military!!

Russia tore down the wall in trust that no new push would go forth afterwards in which would endanger the Russian borders set in the aftermath of the wall coming down. Has the world kept it's word to Russia by meddling in Ukraine ?

Surrogate to what though? I have sensed that he isn't all that strong or competent. Certainly the reforms he promised when he came to power have not happened. And he doesn't seem to want to end this war though I could be wrong about that..

But while they will not be willing to hand Putin an unqualified victory, I'm pretty sure Trump and the GOP controlled Congress will be putting conditions on Zelensky receiving any more funding from us. And as withdrawal of the U.S. would be extremely costly to the E.U., I imaging those leaders will help Trump encourage Zelensky into negotiations that can end the war on terms everybody can live with.

It's a stupid war between two corrupt countries that should be working together instead of hostilities that won't benefit anybody but has thousands of bodies piling up. A solution that produces at least some win-win for both is the best solution and increases the probability that peace will return to that region.

Zelensky wanted to end the war in March 22, but America and Britain guaranteed that Russia would be easily defeated.

Now America's propagandists are ensuring everybody that is the way it worked out!

Who am I to suggest they got it wrong?

I honestly don't know all the dynamics. I just know that war, especially war in which victory has not been defined, is the most stupid, senseless activity humankind ever came up with. Trump is on record that he wants it to stop. I trust him to do the best that he can to make that happen and to do so in a way that both Zelensky and Putin can feel it's okay.

No, you're just pretending to not know all the details/dynamics that I stated.

Pretending to not know is your attempt to not have to say that it's not true.

I'm all for Trump and his attempt to end the war too, but I can't quite imagine how America can spin the propaganda to make it look like their win.

If Trump gets his way then America's ass has been kicked and it won't get another chance.

The US military isn't going to lay down and take their licks just for Trump's sake!
