Biden didn't care. At all. He would have given Zelensky money to eternity and kept the war going forever. Care less.
Trump is different. Very different. He wants to end the war. And Putin can sit and talk with Trump. He refused to talk to Biden because, his words, he didn't consider him a real President.

I trust Trump more than any other BUT there is a bloke called Putin who wants Russian domination. My own view is that the whole of Ukraine should be Iron Domed with Europe coughing up the $ to pay for it. You got any better ideas other than let Putin win?

Of course not. I presume it is to keep some of the land they have secured, a "no-NATO Pact".

Zelensky has said that ALL land should be given back to Ukraine, including Crimea, which at this point is a pipe dream.

Now, I imagine some of this is going to be "you bid high and I go low". It could work if Europe gets involved in a major way.

Unfortunately, one of the worst leaders in world history, Merkel, handcuffed Germany and their need for energy. France, being the rocket scientists they are, pushed naive politicians to sign a Paris Accord for the climate change threat, costing the West hundreds of billions while China profits and hums along with their manufacturing base, poisoning and building coal mines.

Europe has to s^&t or get off the pot. I apologize for the ungentlemanly term but this is serious business. If they are not willing to risk serious skin in the game in their own backyard, how reliable are they if WWIII begins?

Trump will give Putin a vote in the Russian populated provinces to vote whether they want to be a part of Russia or Ukraine, which will give Putin a claim to victory because those areas want to be a part of Russia. Zelensky will pout, but he is about to become immaterial and he knows it. Which is why he is whining. Biden just wanted to keep giving him money, and Zelensky's family is now wealthy from it.
He will not cause any real trouble, because without Trump he has no backing. European backing is thinner than the morning frost.

Because Europe, like Biden, has no backbone. NONE. They lost it all in the 19th century-early 20th century. Europe depends on American taxpayers to solve their problems and protect them. And that is what ALWAYS happens when a Dem is President.
Trump has the balls to tell Europe to spend their own damn money - and the left media will cry and cry and cy over it.

He's right. Nor has Trump ever suggested that he can force any other country to do anything. But he has convinced many MANY countries that it is their best interest to enter into win-win agreements. For instance, NATO countries, if they want the continued participation of the USA and the protection it provides to them, have to expect to pay their agreed 'dues' to that organization which many were not doing. It remains their choice. And they chose to do the right thing.

I suspect he can be equally as persuasive with the Ukraine. He won't demand they do anything. He'll just spell out what's in it for them to do the right thing and the consequences for not doing the right thing. Then it's up to Zelensky to choose.

No more weapons from the US for defensive purposes, and no more intelligence being lent to them in hopes that they could defend their equipment and troops from surprise attacks and the destruction of their operations used for defensive purposes.

America will soon learn who and what they've been supporting in all of this.

Undoubtedly Zelensky's new gains made in technology and it's push back on Russia has built a new independent spirit and confidence that it might can go it alone if it has too.

Closing the door to diplomacy and negotiations is a serious miscalculation in the Ukranian leader's thinking. Russia has always had the ability to totally destroy the capital of Ukraine with a single nuclear stike. Zelensky best take heed that not negotiating could leave Putin in a position to no longer toy with Zelensky and his new found drone war confidence he has on the battlefield.

Drones are no match for nuclear warfare, and Zelensky has no ability to win against that. Negotiations is all that's left. Enough of the destruction and dying already.

Apologies; I thought it was rhetorical. He THOUGHT it would be over in a few days/weeks so no I don't. What I am saying is that Trump will be the deal broker imo. Winter is coming and keeping an invading force in the field is difficult. Kursk is a killing fields for Russia and I have a lot of respect for the Ukrainian Military. They have earned it.

We KNOW Biden stuffed it up from Day 1 and it's a Europe thing, but appease is a losing strategy. By all means the US should be paid for the weaponry by Europe BUT it is a FACT that the West has guaranteed UIkraine's freedom after the Ukes gave up their nukes (rightly so). So if America's word isn't worth a pinch of shit then it may as well be DemoKKKrat!!
