The average person will spend about one-third of their earnings on taxes, according to the study, which is based on the 2019 Consumer Expenditure Report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics. The analysis extrapolates tax rates that were then in effect out over an 18- to 79-year lifespan. The average American will spend more than $500,000....unless you live in one of those "special" states. Keep in mind these number are before Uncle Joe works his "magic".

The payments, which aren’t adjusted for inflation, could be even higher if President Joe Biden’s proposed tax increases get approved by Congress. He’s also pressing for significant relief for lower-income and middle-class families, including an extended, stepped up child tax credit.

Most of the lifetime tax bill -- nearly 65% -- is in the form of state and federal levies on income. Auto taxes cost an average of $29,521 over the years. Californians and New Yorkers will pay the most in sales taxes, roughly $40,000, over their lifetimes.

As long as big corporation such as Amazon don't have to pay their share in taxes, the repub party will be happy. You will make up the difference. As a matter of fact, the repub party wanted to increase gas taxes in order to pay for the infrastructures bill. That is how much the repub party cares about the middle class.
You act like you get to decide what is someone's fair share cupcake you do not now go get your fucken shine box
No...the IRS does. And big corporations are playing you repub party nuts like a fiddle.

You have one of the highest standards of living in the world. Do you think that living in a first world country is free. Just like condo fees taxes or your share of the cost of running the country.

You ass-wipes sure seem to feel it's free, or should be free.

It’s not Democrat who keep cutting taxes. It’s not the Democrats to give away “free shit”. Democrats tax before they spend. Republicans cut taxes and then go on a spending spree and wonder why the deficit is so high.

Your country is in the mess that it’s in because Republicans keep cutting taxes and not taking care of the country. There’s been no infrastructure investment since Jimmy Carter was in office.

You nation’s infrastructure is #13 in the world in terms of transportation accessibility to Wi-Fi nationwide, and your electrical grid is failing in multiple states due to age and lack of capacity.

Infrastructure investment has gotten so bad that it’s affecting your competitiveness. Every time I visit the US, I’m struck by how dirty and shabby it looks. Roads are in terrible shape and bridges are now in danger of falling down.

And all you keep going on about his taxes. Taxes corporations and the wealthy and rewrite your tax code to reward work not wealth.

Wealthy Americans are literally paying no taxes. The burden of taxes is now falling on the working middle class and it’s destroying them.

Republicans have engineered a tax code which rewards wealth and punishes everyone else. Your country is now second world status at best.

Hey stupid! Do you think 80% is a fair share? That is the share of the nations wealth that goes to the top 10%. And most of what they make is “rents” - money they did not earn.

In Norway it’s only 50%. In Canada it’s 40%. But the US tax code gives 80% of the nations income, to the top 10%.

Every time Republicans cut taxes, the wealthy get more and the rest get less.

That's bullshit.

The nation doesn't own any wealth.

Wealth is nothing but a person's net worth and anyone can imporove their finances if they want to

Then why do you continue to vote for Republicans, who continue to give tax breaks to the wealthy and force you to pay for them?

Three economic crashes in 40 years would seem to indicate that the Republicans don’t know their ass from a hole in the ground when it comes to the economy. But you keep putting them in power to crash the economy again to the benefit of the wealthy. It makes no sense but you keep doing it.

I haven't voted for a republican in 30 years.

Sweetheart.

Relax.

You need laid.

You can't tax wealth sugar. Only income.

Why do you hate on me for working hard and making money.

You sound so jealous and envious.
