After allowing Marco Rubio to gut the State Department, and virtually all of the USAID programs that generated enormous goodwill (and national security) for the American public, President Trumpās childlike lack of patience or strategic thinking leads him directly to military solutions. And with an unqualified and deeply unserious person like Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth white knuckling his way through the job, those military solutions are far from ideal.ā

The Iran fiasco is the consequence of placing Trump in office, someone clearly unfit and unprepared to do the job.
And as a consequence of Trumpās incompetence, he appointed someone just as unfit and unprepared ā Hegseth.
Trumpās arrogance, ignorance, and stupidity likewise leads him directly to military solutions that arenāt solutions at all; in the case of Iran, a āsolutionā for a problem that didnāt exist.
