The most famous visa overstay is Elon Musk. But he was able to get away with it and became a citizen because he's white. Furthermore, there are over 40 countries, mostly white, that can come here without visas and visit. So if we use common sense, we don't just target Hispanics. Actually, that’s right. If a law enforcement officer or agent briefly detains you to ask you anything (say in California), then (unless that law enforcement office or agent already has probable cause) the individual stopped may indeed simply “walk away.”
