What is your motivation to type in all caps?

I do it sometimes because it's easier to read. Technical notes on engineering drawings are generally all caps for that purpose. TECHNICAL NOTES ON ENGINEERING DRAWINGS ARE GENERALLY ALL CAPS FOR THAT PURPOSE. (See?)

Some people think that all caps means you're trying to yell rather than speak softly...and bolded all caps means you're screaming...underlined, bolded all caps means you're swinging a bat as you scream...underlined, bolded, red all caps means you are about to explode.

It is all a matter of perception, but it does not significantly change the meaning of the text presented.
