Wow. Thanks for that. Have not commented, as had not seen the vid and did not know the context or even story. I searched on YouTube using the words at top of the video, but it brought up nothing. I have found, when view a YouTube on TV out on the deck, the search argument on my computer often has to be from what is typed underneath the video if different than shown in the title pic.

Nasty lawless situation up there, in regards to US Government forces, disregard for known Federal laws and constitutional law enforcement based on constitutional rights, upheld, all the way to the supreme court. Well, we agree on that. But, those goons were masked, unidentified, and when they got out, were wearing gear marked police, when they clearly were not local police and no guarantee, they were anybody official. I would have floored it in reverse, whipped around on the new course without stopping (just as the government trained me) and driven to real police or at least a very public populated location, where other people can observe, possibly film and report what happened. If you do not know who is attacking you, you have no obligation to stick around and find out, if they plan to shoot you, beat the shit out of you, possibly rob you, hijack your car or anything else. Real law enforcement is identifiable in marked cars, identifiable uniforms, etc. Do not follow thugs around, whether from the bad part of town or from out of town, but do not be taken by thugs out of sight of public observation, if you can possibly avoid or evade.

And if they are not cops, give yourself some room to work, and a better line of sight.
Not a perfect situation but if you stopped, that reduced your chances of getting away without them putting a few rounds in the vehicle.

Or, if they are not cops, give them the beer in the back seat and tell them you'll be back with snacks in a few minutes.

Or, take your chances dodging fence posts driving through a ditch trying to lose them.

Or, break the law and frantically dial 9-11, convince the person that answers the call to call your mother and ask her what you should do.

Or, forget all that other shit, take a deep breath, and just roll the dice.

It is against procedure and the law to shoot at a moving vehicle, not known to be an escaping felon and danger to the public. The Feds probably will not shoot at you driving away the opposite direction, even these goons, especially if you can make it to a public place with at least witnesses to whatever violence they might choose to do.

I am not worried about the cops or feds, have dealt with them more than once, not my first rodeo, and won't be giving them any reason to worry about me.
