Would someone please answer how life existed with 4,000 ppm CO2 in the atmosphere?

Earth started out with much higher CO2 and near nothing in free oxygen. That was about 4-4.5 billion years ago and first life forms were stromatolites that started the plant cycle of using CO2 and expelling O2. It took some time (few billion years) for there to be enough accumulated O2 (Oxygen) to make conditions habitable for Fauna.

Earth's Third Formation of Atmosphere

When we compare Earth's early atmosphere with its present one, major differences are obvious. But the change from a reducing atmosphere, poisonous to most modern life forms, to the current oxygen-rich atmosphere took about 2 billion years, almost half of Earth's lifespan.

Fossil evidence shows that the earliest life forms on Earth were bacteria. Cyanobacteria, which are bacteria capable of photosynthesis, and chemosynthetic bacteria found at deep sea vents thrive in an oxygen-depleted atmosphere.

These types of bacteria could thrive in Earth's second atmosphere. Evidence shows they did thrive for a long time, happily converting carbon dioxide into food and releasing oxygen as a waste product.

At first the oxygen combined with iron-rich rocks, forming the first rust in the rock record. But eventually the oxygen released exceeded nature's ability to compensate. The cyanobacteria gradually polluted their environment with oxygen and caused Earth's current atmosphere to develop.

I'm sure it is just artistic presentation but the "ocean" rise is the major concern as supposedly low sea level areas DUE to rising temperatures will melt glaciers causing sea rise and the above ocean level doesn't appear to be affected.

Now according to the provided link "climate change" affect: rising sea levels, more frequent and intense extreme weather events like hurricanes, floods, and droughts, Effects - NASA Science

Naturally, climate change advocates point to this as further proof that the increase in CO2 levels is already causing calamities around the world. "As human-induced climate change continues to progress, extreme weather is becoming more frequent and dangerous," is how the Environmental Defense Fund put it.
But what evidence is there that extreme weather "is becoming more frequent and dangerous." In the U.S., there isn't any.

If you don't believe that, then look at the series of charts below, which are taken from government sites, that depict trends in hurricanes, tornadoes, droughts and wildfires — all of which should be, according to environmentalists, on the uptrend.

Finally who has financially benefited from "climate alarmism"?
How Al Gore has made $330m with climate alarmism: Former VP made a fortune after losing to George W when he set up a green investment firm now worth $36BN that pays him $2m a month... as he warns about 'rain bombs' and 'boiling oceans' Al Gore has made hundreds of millions through his climate awareness
The former VP is at the forefront of green technology investment Gore's company Generation Investment Management pays him $2m per month The company has billions in investments worldwide

John Kerry: "We're on the brink of needing to declare a climate emergency, which is what we really have. And we need to get people to behave!"

The world is in a state of climate emergency, and we need to shift into emergency gear. Humanity’s burning of fossil fuels has emitted enough greenhouse gases (GHGs) to significantly alter the composition of the atmosphere and average world temperature has risen between 1.1 and 1.2°C.
OK So the cause is the world's average temperature as of today:
According to current data, the average global surface temperature is approximately 15°C (57.98°F/14.43°C) as of 2024-12-11 19:16:27 UTC.

HMMM so how does Kerry et.al. explain the world's temperature 500 million years ago when the CO2 PPM was 4,000?
Concentrations of CO2 in the atmosphere were as high as 4,000 ppm during the Cambrian period about 500 million years ago.

HMMM... who was burning fossil fuels then?
According to recent studies, the average world temperature around 500 million years ago was likely significantly warmer than today, with estimates placing it around 86°F (30°C) or higher, indicating a "hothouse" climate with no polar ice caps and generally high temperatures across the globe; this data is based on analysis of the Phanerozoic era, which covers the past 500 million years of Earth's history.

Hmmm 86° C! Again where was the 4,000 PPM coming from then but we are concerned about world temperature has risen between 1.1 and 1.2°C.?
Would someone answer these two questions:
  • Where did 4,000 PPM of CO2 come from, i.e. who was burning fossil fuels?
  • How did the world survive if the average global temperature was 86°F (30°C) or higher?

Cuz it didn’t come from SUVs?
