Zone1 Would Jesus support Donald Trump if alive today?

You are not seeing it because you died and descended into hell. You are getting shafted publicly every day by a fetid fat pig, an egomaniacal scumbag, trump. This is not Kosher!

Queerdo.
Why because he believes Jesus is God. So does every other Christian. Are they in hell too? Who do you think you are? God?

Yep. His kingdom isn't of this world (John 18:36). While you may believe His teachings challenged earthly power structures, Jesus consistently taught spiritual transformation and non-resistance, emphasizing that His ultimate victory was spiritual, not political or military.
Nonsense.

Jesus did not teach non resistance to evil, he taught non violent resistance to evil

"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, (that be), against the potentates of the darkness of this world." Ephesians 6:12

Do you even know what a principality is? A potentate? Ask your friend google.

It's not nonsense. You reject the gospels. Pretty much every post you make in this forum is so you can voice your displeasure over Christian beliefs. Almost always in direct contradiction to what the gospels are stating. So of course you are going to turn Jesus into a political activist. I don't know how more clearly he could have said that his kingdom wasn't of this world. Do you think Ephesians 6:12 invalidates that? It's not even a quote from Jesus. His quote was, MY KINGDOM IS NOT OF THIS WORLD.

You paint all Republicans with the same brush, hypocrite. That's just plain stupidity.
I do not. I was a registered Republican before Trump came on the scene. I would say the majority of people who oppose Trump are independent or Republican.
I don't paint everyone who voted for Trump with the same brush.

Do not say MAGA republicans represent all conservatives or republicans.

You are making my point that MAGA is not a Christian organization. You are attempting to make the point that MAGA, a political group (not even an organization) should follow the teachings of Jesus while being one who would run screaming into the street if they actually did and insisted their chosen candidates did too, because there are enough of them to form a massive voting bloc that could not be ignored.

MAGA is political, not religious.
I agree MAGA is a political group or even a cult, but MAGA claims Jesus would support MAGA. I say no way.

They don't.
But the so-called "conservatives" or "republicans" have been left in the dust, just like "moderate Democrats" have been in their party, replaced by radical Leftists.

I guess you don't know what that means either.

Pity.
It means that Jesus' mission was a spiritual one, conquering sin and death, not earthly kingdoms. Read the Gospels as they are intended to be read. Not like a political subversive reads them.

I guess you don't know what that means either.

Pity.
After rising from the dead, Jesus told his apostles to spread his message globally (the Great Commission), promising them the Holy Spirit for power, telling them to make disciples and baptize, and assuring them he would always be with them, while also teaching them to understand scripture and forgiving sins. Key messages included "Peace be with you," showing his wounds, and the command to wait for the Spirit before starting their mission.

Key Instructions & Teachings:
  • The Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20): "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them...teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you".
  • Power of the Spirit (Acts 1:8): They would "receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you" to be witnesses to the ends of the earth.
  • Understanding Scripture (Luke 24:44-45): He opened their minds to understand how the Scriptures (Law, Prophets, Psalms) foretold his suffering, resurrection, and the need for repentance and forgiveness.
  • Peace & Presence: He repeatedly said, "Peace be with you," showed them his hands and side, and promised, "I am with you always, to the very end of the age".
  • Forgiveness & Witnessing: He commissioned them to preach repentance and forgiveness of sins in his name to all nations, making them his witnesses.
  • To Thomas (John 20:29): "Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed".
  • To Peter (John 21): He specifically told Peter to "Feed my sheep," reaffirming his role after Peter's denial.

Key Actions & Appearances:
  • Appeared to locked-door groups: Giving them peace and showing his wounds.
  • Appeared on the road to Emmaus: Revealing himself in the breaking of bread.
  • Appeared in Galilee: As promised, meeting them on a mountain.
  • Gave instructions before ascending: Emphasizing their mission and waiting for the Spirit.

I guess you don't know what that means either.

Pity.
The Great Commission is Jesus's command to his followers, found in Matthew 28:19-20, to "Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them... and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you," serving as Christianity's foundational mission to spread the Gospel globally by making disciples (true followers) through teaching and baptism, empowered by Christ's promise of His presence. It's a directive to share the Christian message, encouraging believers to actively teach others about Jesus and His commands, extending to every corner of the world.
Key Elements of the Great Commission:
  • The Command: "Make disciples of all nations" is the central imperative, with "go," "baptize," and "teach" being the participatory actions to achieve it.
    • The Authority: Jesus asserts that all authority in heaven and earth has been given to Him, making the commission possible.
    • The Scope: It's universal, extending to "all nations," not just a specific group.
    • The Promise: Jesus assures His followers, "Surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age".

How It's Carried Out:
  • Evangelism: Sharing the Christian message (the Gospel).
  • Discipleship: Training people to become committed followers of Christ, not just converts.
  • Missionary Work: Sending missionaries and integrating mission into church life to reach unreached people groups.
  • Empowerment: Believers are empowered by the Holy Spirit to be witnesses, as described in Acts 1:8.
Significance:
  • It defines the purpose of the Church in the world.
  • It provides a mandate for global outreach and evangelism.
  • It emphasizes deep, transformed living (discipleship) over superficial adherence.

I agree MAGA is a political group or even a cult, but MAGA claims Jesus would support MAGA. I say no way.
I don't see them doing that. There may be some who feel the need to defend the group against nay-sayers who try to use religion against a political group. Since they aren't even an organization, you're going to have a hard time saying MAGA says anything.

Do you really feel Jesus Christ would support Trump and MAGA if alive today.
I have a hard time believing he would.
MAGA is the opposite of many of Jesus's key teachings.

  • Jesus’s call for humility and service over power and wealth.
  • His commands to love and care for outsiders and the disadvantaged
  • Jesus never sought political office or power and urged His followers to seek God’s kingdom rather than worldly rule.
  • His emphasis was on care, compassion, and justice for all people, especially the vulnerable.
  • He challenged religious and political leaders alike when they ignored mercy and righteousness
  • Love your neighbor as yourself.” (Mark 12:31)
  • “I was a stranger and you welcomed me.” (Matthew 25:35)
  • The Good Samaritan (Luke 10) centers moral duty on care for foreigners and enemies.
  • Jesus rejects earthly power, status, and domination (Matthew 20:25–28).
  • Jesus condemns deception and hypocrisy (Matthew 23).
  • Jesus repeatedly warns against wealth and neglect of the poor (Luke 12, Luke 16).
  • What mortal man does not realize we are all flawed and ask Jesus for forgiveness? Trump has said "Why do I have to repent or ask for forgiveness, if I am not making mistakes?"
  • 'Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; life does not consist in an abundance of possessions'” (Luke 12:15).
You’re a moron.

Jesus gets invoked by you shitlibs a lot. But your “points” are ridiculous. Running the Exxecutive Branch is a governmental task. Jesus didn’t preach to the governments of the world. Jesus taught people. Not governments.

And when we vote, we don’t vote based on how “Christian” a candidate may be relative to an opponent. We vote for the “leader” we prefer to do their jobs job of helping to run our nation.

Your fallacies are always obvious and your thinking is always shallow. Like the opening post.

His quote was, MY KINGDOM IS NOT OF THIS WORLD.
Right.

The world he was living in was a Roman wilderness of pain where the higher one gets, in the hierarchy of hell, the lower they go and the more despicable and cruel they become.

As I said the fight is against "the powers that be", principalities and the potentates of the darkness OF THIS WORLD. A potentate is a monarch or ruler, especially an autocratic one. A principality is a state ruled by a prince. How is this spiritual fight not a political one?

If Jesus or his disciples were here they would be excoriating Trump and extirpating MAGA.

I've never said that once in my life.
You may not have but many have. When Trump was shot, many, including Trump, said he was spared by god to be able to fulfill his Presidency.

The MAGA myth is starting to fade away. The realities of the second Trump Presidency are being seen by many Trump voters who do not like what they see.
MAGA will fade away. The Republican party will be reclaimed by true conservatives. MAGA will be a stain on US history. It will still be around but as a fringe group like the KKK, white nationalists, neo-nazis etc.
It is like McCarthyism of the 1950s

I agree. Tell your fellow MAGAs to shut up about Trump being chosen by god.

I agree. Tell your fellow MAGAs to shut up about Trump being chosen by god.

President Trump never said he was chosen by God. And my fellow Trump supporters are free to see what happened to Trump as a sign of God’s hand being involved.

So, no. Your petty request is denied. I won’t advise anyone to “shut up” about their belief in Divine intervention in this matter.

Find something closer to being of any merit to whine about. This nonsense only serves to highlight how vapid you always are.

The entire event was staged. If Trump really was shot the secret service would have covered him with their bodies tossed him into a bulletproof car and sped away. They never would have let him stand up and defiantly lift his nazi fist in the air giving the shooter another shot.

Thats a fact.
