Zone1 Would Jesus support Donald Trump if alive today?

Do you really feel Jesus Christ would support Trump and MAGA if alive today.
I have a hard time believing he would.
MAGA is the opposite of many of Jesus's key teachings.

  • Jesus’s call for humility and service over power and wealth.
  • His commands to love and care for outsiders and the disadvantaged
  • Jesus never sought political office or power and urged His followers to seek God’s kingdom rather than worldly rule.
  • His emphasis was on care, compassion, and justice for all people, especially the vulnerable.
  • He challenged religious and political leaders alike when they ignored mercy and righteousness
  • Love your neighbor as yourself.” (Mark 12:31)
  • “I was a stranger and you welcomed me.” (Matthew 25:35)
  • The Good Samaritan (Luke 10) centers moral duty on care for foreigners and enemies.
  • Jesus rejects earthly power, status, and domination (Matthew 20:25–28).
  • Jesus condemns deception and hypocrisy (Matthew 23).
  • Jesus repeatedly warns against wealth and neglect of the poor (Luke 12, Luke 16).
  • What mortal man does not realize we are all flawed and ask Jesus for forgiveness? Trump has said "Why do I have to repent or ask for forgiveness, if I am not making mistakes?"
  • 'Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; life does not consist in an abundance of possessions'” (Luke 12:15).
Do you have any idea what life was like for "His" people under the Roman authorities? What did He, and the apostles later, say about the civil governments?

Democrats say stupid things but not nearly as stupid and consequential as Trump. I put the focus on the worst of the worst. And I have crticized Biden many times on the site. We would not have Trump without Biden and an inept democrat party.
so i was right?....and as you have said elmer...bidin aint president anymore....lets see some recent stuff....

Maybe, had Jesus been born today, he'd be a gangsta rappa, and he's be shooting himself up and telling everyone to go **** themselves.

He'd also be complaining about this voice in his head, that he doesn't listen to the voice in his head, as it complains about him worse than his mother.

I told you
Democrats say stupid things but not nearly as stupid and consequential as Trump. I put the focus on the worst of the worst.
do you think waltz new what was going on with the Somali situation?....

None of that involves illegal immigration.

What is compassion? is it how the City of Berlekely California treats their homeless population? Enabling them to live in squallor as the population grows?

Where compassion mixes with things like laws, ordinances and responsibilities of both citizens and officials, it's not as simplistic as you're trying to paint it. Yoiu can probably take any law on the books and create an argument that it is not compassionate in some way.

Maybe, maybe not, he would put your dumb ass to death though, probably.
Probably Jesus would tie a millstone around your neck and throw you over the side of a fishing boat.
Jesus was never all lovey dovey, no.

You don't know much about Jesus do you? He never preached hate though the money lenders pissed him off

The greedy corrupt Democrats are stealing funds that are intended for poor and disabled children, and Trump is trying to stop them.
I think that Jesus would be on Trump's side.

Christianity was usurped in our nation in 1913. And frankly, it was not like it was perfect before then. Our nation today is disjointed. We ended up with plenty that peaked out and are screwing it up for self-important selfish ways.

He wouldn’t support Trump or any other world leader. He stated his kingdom was no part of this world.
