We need to find the definition of sin in the Bible, not church tradition.
The BIBLICAL definition is found in 1 John 3:4 "Sin IS the transgression of the Law"

Abortion, couples living together, gay weddings, openly taking God’s name in vain, no day of rest, elimination of prayer and bible studies in schools, divorce. What other sins are we in denial of?
that can not be accomplished through religions of servitude and denial the true cause for humanities decline and is another subliminal reason for the 1st century events.
Then you are no agnostic. But don't kid yourself, your perception of my God is fairytales. My perception of God is that God is every extant attribute of reality. You don't possess the desire or intellectual capacity to unpack that perception of God. So stick with your fairytale perception of God and continue making moronic comments about your fairytale version of God.I have no doubts your god is man made, but not other possibilities.
No, im just not stupid and gullible. Then you are no agnostic. But don't kid yourself, your perception of my God is fairytales. My perception of God is that God is every extant attribute of reality. I think relative to me you are stupid and gullible. And to prove my point I think it was rather stupid and gullible for you to make the statement that I have made up shit to justify my faith. I think you made that comment without any basis whatsoever. No, im just not stupid and gullible.
Even you have to make shit up to justify your faith. Its pathetic.
You make up things all the time. You ignore what the bible says and make up some weird interpretation. And then call everyone else stupid. You do it all the time.I think relative to me you are stupid and gullible. What is it that you think I have made up?
As long as we remember that Jesus summed up the Law in two commandments:The BIBLICAL definition is found in 1 John 3:4 "Sin IS the transgression of the Law"
Like what? Give me an example. You make up things all the time. You ignore what the bible says and make up some weird interpretation. And then call everyone else stupid. You do it all the time.
You want to bring up rose colored glasses?![]()
Like the rest of us, is your thinking limited? Can there be something more beyond our own thoughts, our own logic? Who is placing more limits on him/herself: The person of faith; the person eschewing faith? No, im just not stupid and gullible.
Have nothing to do with "Christians" who mock and despise your beliefs, seeking to stir up animosity because they are wrong for doing so. The only people Jesus was harsh with were the spiritual leaders of His day who corrupted what God established and should have known better. Everyone else He called to Himself, not driving them away. No, im just not stupid and gullible.

Absolutely. But its not the abrahamic god.Can there be something more beyond our own thoughts, our own logic?
Its ok. His god knows his sinHave nothing to do with "Christians" who mock and despise your beliefs, seeking to stir up animosity because they are wrong for doing so. I hate it when people act that way towards others in the name of God.Its ok. His god knows his sin
I am always recommending a Bible Study of the Old Testament led by one who speaks Hebrew, and if one can be found, one whose first language is Hebrew. Second recommendation is to take oneself out of the story, because it is so easy to read it from our own point of view. Try reading it from God's point of view. Third, Hebrew is an objective language; that is, it speaks in pictures. When one is only looking at one part of a picture, it is easy to miss the whole scene. Fourth, we are a barbaric people. We are now, we were then. It's who God has to work with, slowly introducing and guiding our thoughts and ways over to his own. Don't give up on Biblical accounts so soon.Absolutely. But its not the abrahamic god.
He obviously isnt omniscient. So many things wrong in the bible with so many inconsistencies, and its just flat out unbelievable that a god that is intelligent and powerful enough to create all this, is a jealous, genocidal madman that murders babies.
He is very militantI hate it when people act that way towards others in the name of God.
When you understand the context in which those things were done, it becomes easier to understand. Just taking a single verse or paragraph out that says God brought judgement against a group of people doesn't illustrate what they were doing at the time, how the world worked, etc. It's kind of like putting Truman on trial for dropping the atom bomb and allowing only a Japanese prosecutor to question Japanese descendants of those killed by them. You're only considering one side of the equation.Absolutely. But its not the abrahamic god.

Except in John 6:60-66 where he let disciples walk away because they were shocked by his command to eat his flesh and drink his blood.Everyone else He called to Himself, not driving them away.
I can't believe you didn't implode from the irony of that statement. He is very militant
And I can't believe that you didn't explode from the irony of your statement either.I hate it when people act that way towards others in the name of God.
And I believe he is beginning to see the results of his attacks as other Christians call him out on them. Notice the increased clamoring for attention. This is not the way Christians are called to approach the world. He is very militant
