I'm not predicting that we will go to war, or when, but it made me wonder, if we go to war, and are hit with an emp, which will kill everything that has a battery, how long could you survive in your home, with the provisions that you have?

long enough to harvest a crop of beans. how about you?

the problem with storing provisions, is that most disasters will destroy your cache or displace you from it.
