For example, one database including 100 institutions included more than 8900 reports in 2021, compared to fewer than 2000 in 2019 and 2020. A different system reported an increase from 162 in 2019 to more than 1100 in 2021.

I am not denying anything.
I have no less than 4 very close relatives, including my own 2 children in the health industry.
My son is a respiratory specialist, and my daughter is a core RT. You think maybe they knw a thing or two about Covid??
Then have been neck deep in this since it started. You can look up dozens of post I have made about them and what they have dealt with that I have made since March 2020.
My daughters hospital back in the summer of 2020 had three full floors of Covid patients. Completely overran their IC units and SDUs. They had make shift quarantine rooms etc.
Today - they have 1 full floor of Covid "real" and 3/4 of another floor that are patients there for other reasons, but tested positive for Covid. They keep these patients separate. So understand what I just said... that means about 40% of their "Covid patients" are not actually Covid patients. This is true in hospitals everywhere.
Also - ER's "over ran with Covid" that the media like to go on about... most of those are idiot people that go to the ER after testing positive even though they only have minor symptoms. They have numerous signs all around the ER entrances saying only come to the ER if your Covid symptoms are severe, or a physician has referred you. But people flood in anyway - every freaking day.

Hospitalizations are hospitalizations. You can't deny that fact. People don't hospitalized themselves, medical professionals admit people to hospitals and our rate of hospitalizations is higher than it has ever been, overwhelming our health care systems. To try claiming that millions of people all stubbed their toes all at the same time, causing record hospitalizations, and then they just happened to find out that hundreds of thousands of people with stubbed toes all just happen to test positive for Covid is insane.

And more people test positive due to Omicrons increased contagions.
PERIOD... there are fewer people hospitalized SPECIFICALLY for Covid than before.

Took us over a year to get my wifes mesh removal surgery. Which made her sick all the time. Finally got it done in Texas.

Every time Americans have a medical staffing shortage, they come to Canada to poach our doctors and nurses. Canadian Universities and medical schools are all publicly funded so Canadian taxpayers are funding the education of our next generations of medical staff.
