Soaring vs Transitory

Are you going to live in the past or in the present?
The pandemic was the reason for inflation during Biden. What is Trump's excuse?
Well, if you think about it, future elections, including the 2026 midterms, are going to be about if we want to go back to Biden and the Dems past or not. I for one, don't want to go back to Biden's 9% inflation nor do I want to got back to having tranny parties at the White House.

You mean the pandemic where the Trump vaccine saved us all? Do you mean the war where Russia invaded Ukraine and we heavily sanctioned Russian energy, driving energy prices through the roof?

Actually if you remember the first Vaccine in America, wasn't from Trump's "warp speed", but instead was from Germany's "light speed"

on Dec. 11, [2020] the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) authorized the first COVID-19 vaccine for use in the country. The emergency use authorization means that doses of the vaccine—made by Pfizer/BioNTech—can be shipped at any time; certain Americans could be vaccinated as soon as next week.

And this wasn't part of Trump's program.

The BioNtech project to develop a novel mRNA technology for a COVID-19 vaccine was called "Project Lightspeed", which started in mid-January 2020 at BioNTech's laboratories in Mainz, Germany, just days after the SARS-Cov-2 genetic sequence was first made public.[57] In September 2020, BioNTech received €375 million (US$445 million) from the government of Germany to accelerate the development and production capacity of the Pfizer–BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine

Today the latest inflation figures came out and inflation came in at 4.2%. The linked article states that prices "surged" or "continued to soar" in May. Couldn't help but think back to Biden's inflation rate clocking in at over 9% but, back then, inflation wasn't "surging" or "continuing to soar", it was "transitory". How different things are worded between Biden and Trump.

Of course the msm will sugarcoat a D politician. They’ve been doing it for decades, apparently you missed it.

The bigger point which you’ll never understand, is the results are the same no matter who occupies the WH. The divisive msm reporting is designed to inflame and gaslight you, and sadly you get duped every time.

Then, what do you do? You support Rs just as they’d hoped, which changes NOTHING.

Round and round you go never ever learning a damn thing.

I don't get duped. I don't buy the MSM's supporting democrats.

As bad has the democrats/republicans are, your government is even worse.
Why don't you step up and talk about it, comrade?

And for icing on the cake, many democrats raised wages to add on to the higher prices, not to mention a stimulus package which massively increased out national debt, throwing even more gasoline on the fire.
President Donald Trump did advocate for additional stimulus payments during the 2020 pandemic. Rather than a single set of checks, he pushed for various relief amounts throughout the year, culminating in a demand for $2,000 direct payments. [1, 2, 3, 4]
Key milestones of his 2020 stimulus demands include:
  • July: Trump stated he supported larger stimulus numbers than the Democrats, floating the idea of rounds of direct payments. [1, 2]
  • October: After briefly halting broader negotiations, he tweeted and called on Congress to pass a standalone bill that would authorize a second round of $1,200 checks. [1, 2]
  • December: After Congress passed a COVID-19 relief package that included $600 payments, Trump threatened to veto the legislation. He publicly called the $600 amount a "disgrace" and demanded that lawmakers increase the direct payments to $2,000 for individuals (or $4,000 for couples). [1, 2, 3]

Somehow he doesn’t know about Trump’s enormous deficit spending in his first term or his second term.

It’s all the fault of Ds. Fox News told him so.

Sounds like you agree that stimulus checks pushed by democrats were a bad idea.

1. Inflation never stops. Those cost increases remain.
2. Even your definition only works if the inflation rate goes back down in the near term.
1. Yes, inflation never stops, and Biden's 9% never goes back down.
2. Once the Iran conflict is behind us, let's see what happens, right?
That's what I said originally. :smoke:

It's bad regardless of which side of the Swamp is in control.

Consumers can control the cost of food by selective shopping. If it costs too much, don't buy it.
You are right. People don't need to eat.
