Hospitalizations due to Covid ALONE is nowhere near as high as it was since the summer of 2020.
They count a person as Covid, if they are in the hospital for something else - but tested positive.

Hospitalizations are higher than ever, even at the old peak of the virus. Why are you a fact denier? I love how the left claim that this record number of hospitalizations, overwhelming the healthcare system, are just masses of people who just happened to stub their toes all at the same time, overwhelming hospitals. No, Biden is supposed to make the resources available to the American people to end this pandemic. He's done his part. It's now up to the American people to use the resources provided to protect themselves, and their communities from unfettered transmission of the virus.

I am not denying anything.
I have no less than 4 very close relatives, including my own 2 children in the health industry.
My son is a respiratory specialist, and my daughter is a core RT. You think maybe they knw a thing or two about Covid??
Then have been neck deep in this since it started. You can look up dozens of post I have made about them and what they have dealt with that I have made since March 2020.
My daughters hospital back in the summer of 2020 had three full floors of Covid patients. Completely overran their IC units and SDUs. They had make shift quarantine rooms etc.
Today - they have 1 full floor of Covid "real" and 3/4 of another floor that are patients there for other reasons, but tested positive for Covid. They keep these patients separate. So understand what I just said... that means about 40% of their "Covid patients" are not actually Covid patients. This is true in hospitals everywhere.
Also - ER's "over ran with Covid" that the media like to go on about... most of those are idiot people that go to the ER after testing positive even though they only have minor symptoms. They have numerous signs all around the ER entrances saying only come to the ER if your Covid symptoms are severe, or a physician has referred you. But people flood in anyway - every freaking day.
