I asked if you thought that he would complete a full term, because not only is he already going back on his campaign promises, but this country is severely divided and not very many people want to work with Trump. When Trump announced he was going to run for President, you on the left said he'd quit before it even started.

When he didn't quit, you on the left claimed he wouldn't make it past the first primary debate.

When he made it fine past the first debate, you on the left stated he'll never make it to the end of the debates.

When he made it and won the primary, you on the left said he would quit before facing Hil-Liar.

When he didn't quit, you on the left said he wouldn't (once again) make it past the first debate with her.

After the debates, you on the left claimed that Trump would quit before the election.

All your predictions were wrong about Trump. He made it and won the primaries, he did just fine against Hillary in the debates, and now he's going to be our President next month. So now the new one is will he finish his first term.

You can't impeach somebody for not doing all the things the candidate ran on. Do you even understand what impeachment is?

I personally never said that Trump would quit. I did however wonder how in the hell he was able to keep going with all the crap that he said which would have killed almost anyone else's campaign.

Did you even read my post? I said that because of his lack of experience in government, he might end up doing something illegal and get impeached. Ever hear of that congressman who resigned and is now being indicted (yes, he was a Republican), for using taxpayer money to make his office look like Downton Abbey? He also was nailed for stealing taxpayer money.

And, with the shady way that Trump has run some of his businesses, it wouldn't surprise me to see him with his hand in the cookie jar.

He's probably gonna take Nixon's attitude of "it's not illegal if the President does it".

You know, with the mood of the country the way it is today, and people acting out in more and more violent ways, as well as the division that exists in Washington today and the fact that many in the GOP don't like Trump, I'm wondering if he will complete a full term?

He said he was going to get rid of NAFTA. Since the election, he has said he only wants to "modernize" it and update it for the way the world is now.

He said he was going to get rid of the ACA (aka Obamacare), and replace it with something else. Today, he said there were certain parts of Obamacare that he agrees with and thinks it should stay in place (kids staying on parent's insurance, covering preexisting conditions, etc).

He said he was going to rip up the Iran deal. Only problem with that is the Iran deal was negotiated not only by the US and Iran, but several other countries as well. If he wants to get rid of the Iran deal, he's gonna have to get the other countries to agree as well.

He said he was going to fix the infrastructure, increase the size of the military and bring back jobs, all while cutting taxes for ALL Americans. Only problem is, if you cut taxes for the people, there is no income for the government and so you have nothing to pay for all those things with.

So, when all this comes out that Trump isn't going to be able to fulfill ANY of his campaign promises, how pissed do you think that the GOP is going to be with him? Will they move to impeach him for promising things he can't deliver on?

Or..............another possibility would be that since he has zero experience with how government works and what is and isn't legal to do, he might end up doing something that is illegal and end up being impeached.

And then there's the other ugly thing that we need to look at.................with so many disgruntled people already running around, and considering the fact that the SS has already had to whisk him away because of threats 2 times (and that was during the campaign), as well as have had to fortify Trump towers because of possible threats, they apparently think there is a very real possibility that someone would attempt to take him out. On a show today, they were interviewing some of the security detail people and they said that guarding Trump is going to be one of the hardest things that the SS has ever done.

So, with all that being said...................do you think Trump will complete a full term?

We had to take over. You forced us to step up and take over control of the country. Since Obama was elected, the Democrats have lost over 1,000 seats nationwide. You now control the fewest state legislatures in history. The cities you control are crime infested cesspools of corruption and murder. You gave us no choice. You Liberals are incapable of rulin anything at all. You cannot even win a local election.

If people don't feel like the Republicans are fixing anything within the next 2 years, that could spell doom for their party. Why? Because the GOP has the House, Senate and the Presidency.

what is he not gonna keep?

He can't tear up the Iran agreement, because there are other countries involved as well, and in order to do so, he would have to get them onboard as well.

He's said repeatedly during the campaign that he would get rid of Obamacare. Today, he said that he's gonna keep parts of it.

He said he's going to get rid of NAFTA, but now he says he wants to "modernize" it.

He's not going to be able to keep a single promise, even with a GOP House and Senate.

They're still going to repeal and replace it. Rs were always on board with some of the original concepts (p/e's covered, kids on parent's plan longer). The mandate - the gov't can tax you for not purchasing a service - is bullshit, needs to go.

Found this from today. Trump had a 7 point plan, some of his points are gone. One of them is price transparency in healthcare. Well, that's shitty, why would they gut that?
