The pledge

Of allegiance. I am now thinking it is a form of indoctrination. My grandkids say it every day. Has me thinking I needneed to speak with them.

I said it all my life, and after a while, especially if you start belting it out at 7 every school day...you kind of don't even think you're saying words.

Little kids in the morning, who don't even drink coffee yet, aren't awake enough to respond to their own names, let alone become indoctrinated because of the pledge

Then tell me the point of having them say it. Of course I will admit I don't have a patriotic bone in my body eventhough i was born in america and brag about it cuz there is nobody man snuff to call me on it....that being said, how can this country justify it?
