Well, I don't think that literally every single state will turn blue. There will be a number of states which will be conservative due to people with conservative views resettling there from liberal states.

People would rather die, than admit their entire world view is false. Especially when they use their world view, to gain some phony morality. They would rather die in a Stalin purge, than admit they were not morally superior.

I mention that, because I read the story of an economist whose great grand parents were killed in a Stalin purge... because they themselves had helped promote Stalin into power, and refused to believe that he was killing everyone, even to the day they themselves were hauled off and executed.

So don't let the Governor of Texas fool you. He might mean well.... but the Democrat voters of California do not mean well. They *WILL* turn Texas into California unless you push hard on educating, and electing right-wing politicians. And I don't think you are educating them very well, based on what I've seen.

Geographically, Texas is very bland.
Mostly, brown and dusty. No real mountains, no forests, no beautiful rivers or lakes.
Dallas and Houston are nothing to brag about. No spectacular architecture, no investment in culture or public parks. Think glorified strip malls and chain stores and restaurants.
Austin and San Antonio are worth a visit. Both invested in city planning and services. Austin has a great music scene and restaurants. San Antonio River Walk is a great public space.
