Why We Don't Have Universal Health Care.

You know, like all the other developed nations (among others) have.
But don't always like.

The reason is because of the Insurance industry and the money they can get politicians to take.
I would agree.

I say we hang the insurance industry out to dry.
They are taking advantage of an opportunity.

It's not just them. It's the health care industry. Doctors f**k over medicare all the time.

Greed runs deep.

But letting government take over......stupid idea.

Yeah. How is it working out for them? The NHS is failing in the UK, and the Canadian system is so great their politicians come to the USA for their operations.

Huh....
75% of people in Canada have a private plan to supplement the public plan.

I am all for a good look at some form of public health care.

At the state level.

I don't need CA bankrupting the rest of the system by trying to care for half of Mexico.

Universal healthcare is mediocre healthcare with year long wait times.... If anyone thinks universal healthcare means free healthcare you are dreaming... there would still be high premiums and copay's with government managed care....
You have short wait times for things that need fixing now.

You are more likely to die of cancer because of the time it takes to get it treated.

It is free when you get it.

It isn't when you pay the tax bill that will come to pay for it.

High copays are a good thing. They make people really think about whether or not they need the doctor that bad.

No, we can look at a bunch of other countries that have better health care than we do.
No you stupid ass....you can look at a bunch of countries that claim to have better outcomes overall.

If you have money in America, you have access to the best healthcare in the world by far.

If you don't, you're f**ked.

Are you kidding?
Does he sound like he's kidding?
Right now there are hospitals closing because of planned cuts to Medicaid.
They never should have been built. They used the medicaid model and all the huge money (overpayment) that comes with it to justify otherwise bad projects.

Congress has the power to create any amendment to the Constitution it wants.
No it does not you moron.

It proposes the amendments.

A proposed amendment becomes part of the Constitution as soon as it is ratified by three-fourths of the States (38 of 50 States). When the OFR verifies that it has received the required number of authenticated ratification documents, it drafts a formal proclamation for the Archivist to certify that the amendment is valid and has become part of the Constitution. This certification is published in the Federal Register and U.S. Statutes at Large and serves as official notice to the Congress and to the Nation that the amendment process has been completed.

It's time people who put a convicted felon in the white house stop trying to talk about behavior.
Regardless, it's all about lifestyle and behavior, cause and effect.

No. The reason is that America wants to import third-worlders from every country on the map, and we cannot afford the massive costs of medical care for all of them.

Are you kidding? Right now there are hospitals closing because of planned cuts to Medicaid. A closed hospital isn't very profitable. Next, we need only one system. Universal health care. Sure, with that you can't raise the price of some drug by 5000% as was done with Daraprim. Or by near 100,000% as was done with the drug Acthar. A drug that had been around for decades.

Next, here in the U.S., around 500,000 families go bankrupt each year due to health care costs. That just shouldn't be allowed! Another point is that have you ever seen the Michael Moore documentary "Sicko?" One of the things they speak of in it is how Canadians who are visiting the U.S. have to buy health care for the time they are in the U.S. Because Canada has universal health care. The U.S. doesn't. If they got sick or injured hare, it could ruin them financially. Lastly, I will show you a world map that shows health care in various countries. If they can do it, we should be able to also.

"The business of America is business." Healthcare is just another product of American business. If people don't like the cost of the product, they don't have to buy it. ;)

The Dominance of Birth-Class Supremacy Will Soon Become Undeniable

What they won't say now will end this. They won't say that there are two totally different groups in "the rich": those who worked for their money and those who inherited it.

Until the inevitable fall of all, we're stuck in a closed society with a few leaks dribbling out and trickling down. As usual, nobody hired to do so will be able to predict the issues of even the near future.
That 'trickle' is actually a flood.

Universal health care is a dumb idea. It's not Earth's job to provide medical services to other planets, let them pay for their own health care.

Those who can't afford healthcare need to take good care of their health. Of course, this isn't as easy as it sounds.

Poor person: "How can I have better health?"
Doctor: "Take these pills.":dev3:

I truly can't understand why liberals want to put our health care in the hands of miscreant politicians like Trump.
