Maybe the same reason a lot of studies show smarter people have a higher prevalence of certain mental disorders.

Maybe dumber peope just don't get mental illnesses as often as smarter people do.

Perhaps we should have a conversation about why Repubs are more likely to believe in the child-like superstition that a cloud fairy looks out for them. Perhaps that explains why their belief system is so full of myths. Like that trump won in 2020. That climate change is a Chinese hoax. Like that a megalomaniacal, uninformed, serial sex offender whose number 1 priority is enriching himself is a great prez.

The OP says "self reported". The actual studies of liberals and conservatives show no meaningful difference. When asked conservatives lie their ass off or are unaware of their issues. How can I prove that? Easily, there are lots of studies that show no difference.

A Johns Hopkins-linked 2024 analysis found that screening positive for depression did not differ significantly between Republicans and Democrats in 2023.

By the time he's done, our Allies will pity us. Our enemies will laugh for what Trump & his party did to make their lives easier.

Trump wants our NATO Allies to spend more for defense so he can kick them to the curb. But that works both ways as he found out with Iran.

Btw, Trump wants that war to end about as much as he wants to face impeachment again.
