Simple enough question.

What's makes his circumstance sufficiently unique that it is in the best interests of justice for the president to unilaterally step in and subvert the system and legal process that convicted him?

Trump is almost totally dependent on a faction of his cult for support. A pardon for the racist sheriff is red meat for the racist faction.

Why do you hate Hispanics?

Are you a racist?

He was denied a jury trial and the judge who ruled on the case was a known Arpaio enemy. Other than the fact that the trial was an obummer railroading worthy of the Soviet Union under Stalin, it was a fine trial.....

Moron.

Because he's put in good work in serving his country.

Next?

Keeping illegals out is not racism. He was doing his job. He will be pardoned. Illegals will stay out, Trump will MAGA.

He was not doing his job. Part of his job was to follow the court's order. He broke the law, plain and simple. A pardon will overrule a court decision. It is an act of the Executive Branch nullifying an act of the Judicial Branch.

As is the case in every pardon

He was under no obligation to obey an illegal order.

He was doing the job that the PEOPLE elected him to do. What he did not do was violate his oath of office by complying with an illegal order. You know, like all of the Nuremburg nazi's tried to claim when they were rightfully tried and in many cases executed for crimes against humanity. obummer had issued illegal decree's, the judge tried to get Arpaio to comply with them. He refused because he is an honorable man.

Unlike the judge.

It infuriates the left loons. Good enough for me
:udaman::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap:

If a president should be allowed to pardon people then this is the best pardon he could have ever made, bar none. I am not a fan of Trump but this is the best pardon ever. preventing out corrupt government and our corrupt judges to abuse their power.

I recognize the President's authority to give him a pardon. It really makes little difference to me. Worst pardons have been given for some pretty vile offenses. If trump decides to give the old sheriff a pardon for whatever reasons or no reasons other than to be nice to the guy, it has no real effect on my way of thinking. If it was up to me I might give him a pardon too. What difference does it matter?

That's for appeals courts to decide, not the pathological liar con artist president we have.

Because the system and legal process no longer serve the cause of justice.
