The reason I consider Obama evil, is he has brought down the firewall between the different governing bodies of government. Our republic was not devised to work in this manner, and anybody who supports it is a fool.

Our congress needs to reassert its power immediately! I have no problem with the next President revoking the executive orders of Obama. But, I do NOT want him/her putting in new executive orders to legislate ANYTHING without the approval of congress. This is akin to having a monarchy, and people on both left and right should be dead set against this. Leaving the Pandoras box open is a recipe for disaster for this country. Anyone from either side who wishes to continue on with the President just over stepping his bounds to over ride congress is asking for a dictatorship, and not a republic. Be careful what you ask for! Most countries who have had the people go along with this for expediency of installing their ideas ASAP, are now much sorrier for their rash decision when looking back in history.

That is due to the crashing prices of oil and the threat that has on our oil companies that has invested and utilizing fracking.

Considering how much oil has fallen, a $10 tax per barrel is probably not even noticed by the middle class or poor.

However, it should help stablize earnings by American oil companies in the face of foreign competition.

Remember, last year at this time, crude traded at over $100 dollars per barrel, now it trades below $40, and you think a $10 tax on a barrel now is going to make there lives harder after that fall.

They haven't noticed the tax and are enjoying fuel that is at its cheapest in 5 years!

How is a ten dollar tax going to stabilize earnings of American oil companies? Is Obabble going to give the tax revenue to the frackers? Or will he use it to restore Solyndra to its rightful place in the quest for alternative fuels and fulfill his promise to lower the ocean levels? Your observation makes no sense.

Tobacco companies and public health advocates, longtime foes in the nicotine battles, are trying to turn the situation to their advantage. The major cigarette makers raised prices a couple of weeks ago, partly to offset any drop in profits once the per-pack tax climbs from 39 cents to $1.01.

Medical groups see a tax increase right in the middle of a recession as a great incentive to help persuade smokers to quit.

Tobacco taxes are soaring to finance a major expansion of health insurance for children. President Obama signed that health initiative soon after taking office.
