This is the strength and at the same time weakness of the 'Enlightenment' society. If a person and their freedom are considered the cornerstone of the society, it inevitably leads to the rise of 'egoism' when personal wishes and desires prevail over societal needs.Empiricism, Skepticism, Liberalism, Individualism, these are the values of the Enlightenment => Freedom.
Control, Obedience, Hierarchy, Collectivism, these are the values of the Talmud => Authoritarianism
