Why Haven't Other Countries Declared War on Iran?

Why haven't other countries declared war on Iran for attacking their ships in an international waterway? (I include the USA in this question, although its actions have spoken louder than words.)

If unrestricted submarine warfare in the Atlantic during WW1 was sufficient cause to declare war on Germany, why wouldn't the attacks on international shipping in the Strait of Hormuz be cause for affected countries to declare war on Iran?

It seems like a united front against this type of piracy would more quickly result in collapsing Iran's house of cards.
It does seem like Iran could be ripe for the taking at this point.

I don't know much about the Kurds.

Would a takeover by the Kurds be any worse?

That's definitely something worth thinking about. The confusion is that there are three distinct angles to consider:
Democratic
Fascist
Islamic
Iran had a Democratic government but the CIA destroyed it by a political coup and put in a Fascist government in its place. The Islamic Revolution destroyed the Fascist one and that's what is in government today.
So, maybe we need to know which one of those powers wants or wanted to kill Trump .... and why. If the order to kill him is in response to the US murdering Iranian leaders then ..... I don't know ..... which is "an act of war"? The actual American political coup in Iran? The actual assasination of an Iranian politician? The Iranian plan of retaliation? Or all three? And what does it have to do with Sweden?

Not true.
So did the US.
As long as the US has nukes it's not America's business what Iran has. "I have punched you but you are not allowed to punch me back"? Screw dat!
Iran signed the JCPOA and then violated it. Iran sponsors terrorists, and you want then to have the bomb? We don't.

You sponsor terrorists and have the bomb. You violate the NPT. We don't want that.

Because they know that this is all on Trump.

You may not agree with it, but it still is a valid position
If a war crime is a valid position. Well, a crime against peace, first of all.

One sees the US thinks so.

Russia won't pay reparations to Ukraine because Russia is winning. And the USA are defeated.
Win or lose, Russia will pay. If they win and annex the country they will have to rebuild the infrastructure they destroyed or Ukraine will be a festering ruin. If they lose they will pay reparations to relieve sanctions.

"When", not "if". Yes, we are investing money in our new territories. But we are trying to cause as little damage to Ukrainian infrastructure as we can. Anyway, Europe will pay for it, one way or another.
And of course, price of victory is much lesser than the possible price of defeat.

They let America defend them

I'm sure Russia will do for Ukrainian infrastructure what it does for itself. FYI, the percent of paved to unpaved roads puts Russia in third world territory, just behind Jamaica and Egypt.

The "little excursion" is an exclusive Trump/Netanyahu enterprise, despite attempts to draw others into their fiasco.

Because, like always, they don't want to spend the money - and their cultures have become pacifist. Nearly all of Europe is very pacifistic.
A fancy, less controversial, term for it is - "Culture of Restraint". Yeah - pacifism. It is the same thing, they just don't want to be called pacifist. Leftist love to create better sounding phrases for the same damn thing.
Bush Jr. correctly entitled them the "Coalition of the Unwilling"

Iran signed the JCPOA and then violated it.
The US backed out of it first so Iran did the same. ⏰
Iran sponsors terrorists,
Both the US and Is-It-Real sponsor terrorism against Iran so what goes around comes around.
and you want then to have the bomb?
Absolutely. 💯 The US and Is-It-real have the bomb so it is fair that Iran also has the bomb.
We don't.
Of course you don't. The US and Is-It-Real have attacked Iran numerous times but you don't want Iran to retaliate.
:fu:

Iran violated it, and bragged about violating it. Trump simplified the JCPOA, Iran can never have nukes, period.

wtf does that mean? The US enforced the "no nukes JCPOA" policy with its military.

Its moronic to let terrorists have nuclear weapons. Not happening.

Of course not, we don't want to punish Iranians, we want regime change to get rid of the brutal dictatorship and give Iranians peace and prosperity. Look at the Iranians standard of living compared to other Gulf country populations with oil economies.
