I found this altered Type IV Survival Ax (Woodsman's Pal) today for $15.00.....This one is unmarked so Woodsman's Pal made this one for the .mil.
It had the D-Guard removed and finger grooves ground in. Not a bad mod as that D-guard would would blister the side of your index finger in short order....I have several sizes of them.
The brush hook is handy for vines and such.
Here it is in .mil trim.....This one was made under contract by Frank and Warren.
