President Donald Trump told ABC News on Wednesday morning that the U.S. may seek a "joint venture" with Iran to safeguard the Strait of Hormuz, following his Tuesday announcement of a two-week ceasefire.


"We're thinking of doing it as a joint venture. It's a way of securing it -- also securing it from lots of other people," Trump said when asked whether he would allow Tehran to charge tolls for shipping to transit the strategic waterway. "It's a beautiful thing," the president added.

This war was a disaster by every conceivable metric. Now Trump all but giving permission to Iran to charge tolls through the strait. Trump even calls tolls a “beautiful thing!” They did not impose tolls before the war. Hormuz was open, and now it is closed and Iran decides who passes and who doesn’t.

They could run a pipeline across the peninsula. Shuttle tankers could unload on the west side into holding tanks. Tankers could approach from the east side without going through the strait and fill up.

How easy would that take to drone attack... Don't even need to guide them in, just plug in the GPs Co-ordinates...

Which is an issue because it forces you into Iranian waters....as I understand it.

If you had a pipeline that kept you out of their waters and Iran attacked it, that would be an act of war and they'd be crushed.

Here is the truth, America and much of the West have underwritten Chinas economy to the tunes of many trillions and they have used your own resources to fund Russia, Iran, N Korea and others. When they run the world they will not be nearly as benevolent.

And America has funded a vastly overbudgeted military, Food industry that proudy poisons us and a Pharma Industry that works with the food industry to develop lifelong "cures" for the poisons.

Time to take it all apart and rebuild it better

I'm directing this idea at the fees Iran would collect, not to protect the oil shipments. Also, attacking the oil bound for their allies and other neutral countries wouldn't be too bright.

Look at Europe... Europe consider US too pro corporate.. They control your media, control you laws (lobbying) and have effectively taken charge...

US is run for profit on the backs of the US people...

Europe tries (not always successful) to run the country for its people...

• Voting is different, far more choice.
• Campaign Donations and lobbying is vastly reduced... Lobbying in US is bribery.
• Corporations are there to serve the people.
• Your country is judged on how you treat you weakest and most vulnerable in society
• Together we can be better, if I win doesn't mean you lose, trade especially shows that we can and should both win
• People are generally good, there isn't an army of deadbeats trying to rob your money
• People born in other countries are not evil if they want to live in your country. They can add to your country just as much.
• Listen to people, be empathic, have patience try to understand
