Why don't you want to tax the rich?

By making them pay down the debt. Electing people who aren't full of s**t when it comes to paying off the debt.

Throw the bums out.
Nice idea. But I’m not seeing much that has changed which would allow enough voters to throw out any significant number of them bums.

Furthermore, we could find a way to revoke their salaries until the debt is addressed.

The beatings will continue until the debt improves.
So, the people who need the salary will never run for office? Yeah, right! My new congress critter is a retired Army LtCol. I doubt he can afford to do his job with no salary.

Right?

So that makes for an adequate punishment, then. Does it not?

Leon Muskrat has seen some books in some DEPTs. He estimates the waste + fraud at 20%.

Even Higher than the 10% I had thought?

20%* $6T = $1.2T

Fix that then get back to the Tax changes.

You could confiscate the wealth of all billionaires and millionaires and run the country for a few months. Of course the vast majority of all jobs would be gone.

If you are opposed, why?

Why do you oppose aggressive taxation of people making more than $250,000+ a year or $400,000+ a year annually?
Everyone should pay the same tax. Not the same rate, but the actual same amount. With that payment comes the ability to cast a vote in elections.

tahuyaman Bernie and Zohran says that even if you tax the rich to oblivion, jobs will still be here.

You guys need to prepare for sharp and painful tax hikes in 2030 and 2031 when a Democratic trifecta happens in 2029

Dems are gonna be out for revenge, taxes are going to be spiking up throughout the 2030s and no a Republican is not winning in 2028 or 2032.

Why not 2009-2016 or the last four years? What happened?

Oh they found other ways to kill the country. The Flu and 20-40 more unvetted immigrants.

Furthermore, we could find a way to revoke their salaries until the debt is addressed.
Childlike speculation at best.
The beatings will continue until the debt improves.
We could actually vote for someone who tells us that hard times are coming. Your blob's fiscal plan of tax cuts for billionaires and less tax revenue from working people...does that sound like a plan to reduce the debt?

Of course not.

Did that matter to you last November?

Of course not.

It was much more important to keep a black woman out of the Oval office than to have serious statesmen in office. Your sentiment reflects that.
