As a Christian, I believe in and am commanded to help the people suffering on a global basis. The mean streak you speak of does not lie on the US but rather the corruption within the organizations you listed as well as the rogue governments they serve that collectively profit off the illness and economic plights of the suffering people. That’s beyond mean. That is sick and evil. There was a time when the US acted because it was the right thing to do.
We cared if people were sick, people were dying, people were suffering
We gladly helped the rest of the world through USAID, Peace Corps, Red Cross, humanitarian aid.
But the US now has a mean streak.
We only care about ourselves, fuk the rest of the world. If people are suffering, let them
Especially if they are not white
Then rewrite the tax code to prevent that. You/they won't, however, because the wealthy in both parties enjoy the same legal ways to reduce their tax bill. TRUMP! successfully made that case in the debate with Hillary.Higher than 0%
The US has historically been the most generous nation in history. We rebuild our enemy's nations after defeating them in war. We send humanitarian aid to nations with which we are actively fighting, and natural disasters see us responding within hours, but that has not changed the number of suffering people in the world. We should not equate getting our house in order to ensure we can continue our generosity with not caring about people suffering. Doing that is about as credible as a teenager getting mad at Dad when Dad cuts off his allowance because the family is facing a financial shortfall. As a Christian, I believe in and am commanded to help the people suffering on a global basis. The mean streak you speak of does not lie on the US but rather the corruption within the organizations you listed as well as the rogue governments they serve that collectively profit off the illness and economic plights of the suffering people. OMG. You blame Biden if your coffee gets cold, don't you?
Which is why before messing around with taces we need to reduce the size of the government
The burden needs to be on governemnt to spend only what we give them andno more and what we give them needs to be a lot less
We do not need 90% of the current governemnt we have. We will flourish without most of the government
You can feel sorry for the rich if you want to. It's stupid, but you can do it.The top 10 percent of all earners pay 72 percent of all income taxes
You think that’s fair?

Who pays the most income tax? | USAFacts
In 2022, the top 5% of earners collectively paid over $1.3 trillion in income taxes, or about 61% of the national total.usafacts.org
You think it’s fair that 90 percent of the nation pays just over 25 percent?
As we have seen from history, "right sized" inevitably becomes "too big" because you can't fight Santa Claus, and once people figure out how to raid their neighbor's wallet, you might as well turn off the lights. We don’t need big government
We don’t need small government
We need the right sized government as dictated by…..We the People
You must be joking.
Your blob ran up $8T in new debt the first time around.
You couldn't wait to vote for him again. If given the chance...you'd vote for him a 3rd time.

It's not about feeling sorry for anyone. It's about fundamental fairness, acknowledging that it's unfair to forcibly take from someone simply because he has more. You can feel sorry for the rich if you want to. It's stupid, but you can do it.
When will Trump do that? Then rewrite the tax code to prevent that. You/they won't, however, because the wealthy in both parties enjoy the same legal ways to reduce their tax bill. TRUMP! successfully made that case in the debate with Hillary.
How do you tax accumulated wealth? Shut you mouths till you have specifics.
Then rewrite the tax code. Try to convince the democrat lawmakers (that you champion) to take away the breaks their wealthy donors take advantage of. Record their reactions like we saw when TRUMP! took down Hillary in the debate over it.Higher than 0%
So now that trump is in charge, he's gonna fix that, right?Notice the Stain ignore HOW to "Tax the rich".
Their own communist butt porkers didn't even discuss it in 12 years. No proposals, nothing. Yet they flap gums "tax the rich". OK notstradumbArse, how?
How do you tax accumulated wealth? Shut you mouths till you have specifics. I posted one, you ignore it. You really are like 12 yr old JHS punk crybaby snitches.
As they are--the difference is that if they do not put their capital at risk, there are no jobs for the rest of us to put food on the table or a roof over their heads. Of course you could quit whining, learn a trade, earn some cash and you, too, could be one of those that have capital to put at risk. The rest of us are just trying to put food on the table, and a roof over their head.
Right now, we tax money when it is moved
When you earn it, when you spend it
We need to apply the same concept to the wealthy.
Money that sits is not taxed.
But moving from one investment to another can be taxed. Real estate, Stock market,
Apply a one percent tax on the investment
Just like a sales tax
It's not objectively positive to tax the rich more.So now that trump is in charge, he's gonna fix that, right?

See Why Warren Buffett Pays a Lower Tax Rate Than His Secretary - Americans.com
More than a decade ago, Warren Buffett made a statement that sparked national outrage—and a persistent debate about fairness in America’s tax system. “I pay a lower tax rate than my secretary,” he said, describing what he believed to be a structural flaw in the U.S. tax code.
