Why don't you want to tax the rich?

And the Biden ran up $8.5 trillion and wanted to add much more.
With a better economy, right?
Biden had 4 years of Covid to deal with; your blob had 9 months of it. Its no excuse; it’s an actual expenditure that he had to make to deal with it.

And I never made the shocking “discovery” that TemplarKormac supposedly did that the deficit is out of control and both parties are responsible; I’ve known it for over a decade.

grumps...both parties are out to lunch financially.

OK Obiden had 12 years. Why did they not even discuss it? You need 50 years to make one change?
I don’t care…just do it

No reason that someone digging ditches for $40k a year pays a higher rate than someone who made $40k shifting one investment for another

Right now, we tax money when it is moved
When you earn it, when you spend it

We need to apply the same concept to the wealthy.
Money that sits is not taxed.
But moving from one investment to another can be taxed. Real estate, Stock market,
Apply a one percent tax on the investment

Just like a sales tax
Leave it to a prototypical progressive/Socialist to go after the heart of America's wealth engine, Investment...Investment drives jobs, retirement, wealth, and economy in this nation...And, Norton here want's to kill it.

If I was young and trying to build a career....family and lifestyle....

I would be completely disheartened at this point.

The Somalia fraudsters are in every state.

The Congressional representatives are not any better. I get nothing but taxes from the Government and possibly criminal charges by just being an average person...

Big businesses are literally out to exploit people and financially enslave them forever leaving them destitute after a lifetime of hard work. The old "Company Store" crime is a nothing by comparison of life today anywhere and everywhere. There's no escape ever.

If I become self employed successfully my ideas and products will by copied and stolen by big corporate giants and CCP and I will never be allowed success.

If I do OnlyFans or YouTube I will lose all social standing and/or revenue streams by one phoney report until AI copycats do exactly whatever I did. And again no monetary income for anything I create.

The American dream is dead. Given to illegal immigrants, corporate America, and an overstuffed politician's pocket.

If I say anything....I'll become a target of debunking and imagined criminal charges I'll never be able to prove my innocence over.

those people already pay most of the taxes collected at all levels. Why should some Americans pay zero taxes?
Because they are struggling to support their family

You sound bitter that your ditch digging job hasn't provided for you....Or, that you're just bad with money.

They don't. $40K - std deduction is ~$25K AGI. Barely on the tax table at 10% 12%?

Your boys + phony complicit "R" block everything if Trump in office.

For 2025, the tax brackets for a single filer are as follows:

10% on income from $0 to $11,925
12% on income from $11,925 to $48,475
22% on income from $48,475 to $106,000
24% on income from $106,000 to $215,000
32% on income from $215,000 to $400,000
35% on income from $400,000 to $600,000
37% on income over $600,000

Digging ditches does more for society than some investor speculating

I max out in March.

Those doing well take home more money later in the year. But the well off see a few weeks of deductions. My bonus pays out in March. I max out then. Rest of the year is SS free!
According to about 80 rightwing loons, that’s fake news. LOL

A single filer making $40,000 pays 7%.

Capital gains tax rate is 10%-37%

You are stupid. HTH.

factors, including your filing status (single, married, etc.), deductions, and state of residence.
For a single filer with $40,000 in wages and claiming the standard deduction in 2025, you can expect to pay approximately:
  • Federal Income Tax: $2,816

Short-Term Capital Gains Tax Rates (Assets held one year or less)
Short-term capital gains are taxed at your ordinary income tax rates, which range from 10% to 37%. The specific rate depends entirely on your total income and tax bracket for that year

Yes, **** the Rest of the world. They aren’t our responsibility. Where does the Constitution say we can send money to other countries?
He sounds like he's in on the Democrat grift....Now he's mad Trump is dismantling their revenue streams.
