Why doesn't meat help meat eaters be healthy?

You'll die before I will most likely of a heart attack, stroke or cancer as the research has shown plant based diets lower the incidence of all 3 of those
Doubt that very much.

Now time for lunch…oh BABY!!!

Those pictures you keep pasting are not going to make me eat meat so why do you seem to think they will?
I can’t make you see the evil of your ways. That’s up to you.

Yeah it's evil not to want to kill animals
No that’s very nice of you, but terribly harmful to yourself and entirely misguided.

Killing and eating plants is evil.

This will blow your mind…SATURATED FAT IS GOOD FOR YOU!

I'm healthier than I've ever been and plants aren't sentient animals so I am choosing the path of least harm

And no saturated fat is not "good" for you it is linked to all kinds of problems even the American Heart Association says that only 5% of your calories should come from saturated fats

I don't use any oils in my cooking I get the fats I need from nuts and seeds

If you’re smart, you’re on your way to becoming a carnivore.

It's upside down world!

Brutally and needlessly killing sentient beings who are no different than a dog or cat? Just fine!!!

Eating food from the earth that was literally designed to be food? Evil!!!!

:laugh2:

Fruits and veggies? Bad for you!

Lard? Good for you!

:laugh2:

I mean, I already knew that this is an upside-down world, but it seems to be getting more and more upside-down, as we're getting closer to the last days.

Some of your posts, gipper, have Isaiah 5:20 written all over them:

Woe to those who call evil good
and good evil,
who put darkness for light
and light for darkness,
who put bitter for sweet
and sweet for bitter.

I don't want to offend you, I really don't. But I honestly hope you lay off drugs. They are messing you up spiritually. I'm not even joking, I really mean that.

Same here! I've said this before but I'll say it again. It's actually amazing, but I pretty much never get sick anymore. I used to get sick just as much as the next person... but now, even when people around me have a cold or flu, I just don't get sick. :dunno:

And every time I've had bloodwork done, it has come back near perfect.

Going vegan was the 2nd best decision I ever made. And when I say that, I'm not even talking about being healthier. I don't do it for health reasons.

It has opened my eyes to many things and it has caused me to have more empathy.... because you begin to see that ALL of God's creatures (I know you're not a believer, but I'm just sharing my view) have value and are amazing in their own ways. And ALL creatures want to live just like you and I do. And I believe they have just as much right to live on this earth as we do. It is the height of arrogance to think that they have no right to live and enjoy life like we do.

It is life-changing and I'm really happy about my decision to go vegan almost 7 years ago. My only regret is that it didn't happen sooner.

The government would love a nation of men turned into pale, skinny soy-boy vegans.

Those guys do as they’re told.

You need to get out more. There are lots of plantbased athletes, and there are vegan body builders. We've been through this before.

And they'll live longer, because they won't die of a heart attack like the meatheads who are slowly but surely clogging their arteries as the years go by... or die of cancer from eating far too much animal protein, which has been linked to cancer.

Is that you buttercup?

Although doctors say that meat is healthy, I do not know anyone who would benefit from meat-eating to be healthy. For example, my neighbor, a meat-eater, has disgusting skin, cellulite, and hardly climbs to the 3rd floor, and she is only 30. Plus she smells like dog.
Maybe she is affected by ptomaine in her intestines? Why can't meat eaters be healthy even though they have a "healthy diet"?

Any food that isn't highly processed (pumped with nitrates/hormones, etc) that comes from the produce or meat department is good for you.

On meats, better to get 100% grass fed beef (no hormones or nitrates), free range organically fed chickens, wild caught fish, etc. There are a number of carnivores on YouTube who are very healthy. But, you have to eat right.

For example, take a Hamburger, it's not the beef that is bad for you, it's the bun and the sugar laden dressing, the fries and the coke that comes with it that is bad for you.

That is my opinion, but I'm not a health adviser, so caveat.

My daughter plays around with vegetarian diets but admits that it leaves her feeling weak. She eats some meat and her strength returns.

Native people in the Arctic regions seem to do pretty well on diet consisting mostly of animal flesh and fat.

Thank you for pointing this out. Meat is healthy, but 'tis better to eat 100% grass fed beef, free range chickens, wild caught fish. There are a few YouTubers who are carnivores who are very healthy, so this idea that meat and dairy products are bad for you is a myth. Eggs are rich in nutrients, but there are bland eggs, and healthy eggs. You have to be conscious of what you are putting into your body.

No, I'm not from the USA.

The Midwest is just the most favorable place for animal husbandry. There are good pastures.

You need to seek the restoration of traditional Republicans. Trumpsters and dems hate cowboys, they'll wipe out the Great Plains and Texas

I'm a dem and westerns are one of my favorite genres of film, especially the classics, like True Grit, etc. I'm also a composer, and one of my songs glorifies the wide open plains of west Texas (I was born in Houston, by the way). I'm not a cowboy, but I have a great respect for their trade.

Quality meat is essential to good health. But it depends on the meat. If you're living on hotdogs, salami, or factory raised beef, pigs, and chickens ... then your health will suffer. Stick to grass fed beef, free range chickens (and their eggs), and animal protein that isn't pumped with hormones, antibiotics, and then processed with harmful chemicals.

The more natural the meat ... the better the results.

No it isn't.

It is entirely possible to be extremely healthy and not eat any animal products
