Tammy Morales: “People are willing to do those repairs and I’m extremely thankful that nobody was injured there. But what I don’t want to hear is for our constituents to be told to be civil, not to be reactionary, to be told that looting doesn’t solve anything. It does make me wonder and ask the question why looting bothers people so much more than knowing that across the country black men and women are dying every day and far too often at the hands of those who are sworn to protect and serve.”

you right wingers are so concerned about looting , but not about death of the Blackman.

Nobody condones the way he died. That though in no way gives them the right to burn and steal.
One bullet pr looter should do it.

She wasn't comparing anything, she was promoting. When you tell lowlifes you agree with their civil unrest, it gives them more confidence to participate.
She was making a comparison, life trumps property.
Nope. You stealing my things will not bring him back.

Many businesses are weary of those areas. And have a right to be. We all pay more for the stealing and game splayed and this has not even slowed down over many years. The stores that are there have markedly lower quality because employees are not as good or caring, the quality of chain store fast foods is markedly different with cleanliness issues to boot many times and supermarkets often have fresher items passed their shelf dates. And this is with the ones that are fewer and far between. Most of the white Progs who cry a river, never give up much of any of their comforts. Start giving your wealth away. Or shut up.
They have ins, and tramp said he would take care of them. Who broke into the stores??
Stop acting stupid.

Hold up a second...... whose life? And whose property?

Because I value my property much more than I do some looters life, and I think a whole lot of others probably feel the same way.
Do you value your property more than your life??
Does the thief/looter value my property more than his life?

Because he is the one taking that risk, isn't he?

Most insurance policies, business, residential, and even auto policies, do not cover civil unrest.

What Penelope does not understand, is for those of us who work hard their whole lives to improve conditions for themselves and family and be successful, our property is inextricably linked to our lives. Even more so, for business owners.
Penelope must have a rich sugar-daddy or have worthless property as she waits for her monthly SNAP card to be re-filled.

What an ignorant bitch.

Looting bothers us SO MUCH MORE than “black people dying every day at the hands of police”?

Who said that? Can she name anyone?

How come a police officer killing one black man bothers her so much more than the tens of thousands of black men who kill other black men in Democratic run municipalities every year?

And even if they did, the insurance company isn't getting the money they pay out from a printing press in their basement. The business owners pay that money in, and they're going to have to pay more in every month after an event like this, even if the insurance doesn't pay out for it, because the business is now a bigger risk.

I'm not a fan of hers but when you look at the whole context of the the discussion, it appears to me she's isn't defending looting so much as pointing out that it's ridiculous to be more upset about looting than at the loss of human life.
you stop with that rational take right this fucking instant

Of course we all pay bigger premiums to cover insurance claims.

What a fucking ignorant bitch. How do you left wing fucktards vote for people who don’t even understand how insurance works?

Not so. We Right Wingers grieve for the man and his family...but we are also concerned for the destruction and loss. It's wrong AND illegal. Or used to be.

Conservatives can walk and chew gum at the same time. We can be outraged at police brutality, and ALSO be outraged at lawless, evil scum taking advantage of the situation to loot and destroy things. Simultaneously. Apparently, this is too complicated for leftists.

And if looting wasn't inevitably accompanied by violent assaults, arson, stuff like that, you might be making a real point.

But it is, so you're not.

BTW, that's the answer to Councilwoman Shitforbrains, too: Looting bothers people as much as "loss of life" because it's always accompanied by more loss of life.
You hit the nail on the head.

Seattle councilmember dangerously endorses looting and riots

ome Seattle City Councilmembers dangerously endorsed or justified looting and violent riots that nearly destroyed downtown Seattle. It’s a sharp contrast to Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan and Governor Jay Inslee, both condemning the violence that distracted from the message of good-faith protesters.

Councilmembers didn’t just back peaceful protesters, something all of us do. Some councilmembers literally sided with and endorsed the violence. Indeed, one councilmember warned against telling people that “looting doesn’t solve anything.”

Most of us "right wingers" are angered by the of a "Blackman", whose name happens to be George Floyd, and we are also upset with others that are losing their lives and being injured, in these riots. Looting is also wrong, breaking into small businesses and looting and stealing from innocent people. Maybe Miss Morales should give the looters her address so they can loot at her house, since she is okay with theft and burglary.

Maybe if she called for peaceful protests so more Americans can unite to fight police brutality, she could positively impact what is going on. She seems to want to divide and keep the hate, the killings, the looting and the unrest going.
Try that again in English.
For you sure. Fuck off. That simple enough for you?
