Zone1 Why do you need gods?

Some people have seen things.

And they choose to explain what they saw by invoking "God".

Did you know God Is only dealing with the CALLED & CHOSEN?

Did you know He is not calling EVERYONE at this time?

How long will God ignore those He hasn't chosen? Or should we call them "Chosen to Go to Hell"?

Did you know Jesus said, if you are not called by God, you are the Devil's children?

I've seen plenty of children of God who do some truly appalling and evil things. The only difference is: they think they are serving God and not the Devil. They will certainly justify their evil to you using God's name where possible.

God made humans in order to have a relationship with us.

Some people fail to feel that relationship is real.

Why is that? Why would God allow some people to fail to "feel His presence"?

What about "scrupulosity"? Where someone's faith and attempts to reach God result in intense and nearly overwhelming person pain for the person? Why does God allow "Scrupulosity" to exist? (If you are unfamiliar with what scrupulosity is, definitely look it up.)

So much error from a "cardinal"

I will address your silliness in a few hours

Not proven.

Just because we don't understand how the universe came to be is no reason to assume a god did it.
It's the best explanation and science backs up the Bible.

As for evolution, the greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist.

To ask why do we need God is simply a misunderstanding of the way things are. According to the bible, we are the children of God and he is the Father of the spirits of mankind.

Psalms 82:6
6 I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.

Hebrews 12:
9 Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?

We are the very literal offspring of God our Father in Heaven.

Acts 17:28-29
28 For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.

29 Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man’s device.

We as the literal offspring of God were born as his spirit children before coming to this earth life. We need God to help us progress through this fallen world as we learn good from evil. He is our parent and we are his children. He has provided a means that we might learn what God knows (good from evil) and also be saved from this fallen world through his firstborn son in the spirit, Jesus Christ. It was important in our eternal progression that we come to this fallen world and learn good from evil. It is what all the gods must learn and experience. God himself is a possessor of this knowledge:

Genesis 3:22
22 And the Lord God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:

God, knowing that we needed to come to this earth to learn good from evil understood that we would all sin and fall short of the glory of God. He thus provided a Savior of mankind so that we could learn good and evil and rise above it through repentance and the mercy of God. He called his firstborn son in the premortal world of spirits to be a Savior and foreordained him to become such.

1 Peter 1:19–20
19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:
20 Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,

So why do we need God? We need him to overcome this fallen world so that we can progress to become like our Father in heaven and his Son Jesus Christ. For our eternal welfare and well being, we need the Father and His Son Jesus Christ to become the best that we can be. We understood this in the premortal world of spirits and hoped that we would come to this earth life and learn to be good beings in and of ourselves and reach out for the help of our Savior and our Father in Heaven. It will be a sad day for those who have their memory of the premortal life restored only to find out that they have failed to take the hand of our Father in Heaven whose arm is stretched out still to save our souls.

Only the Church is being called and prepared during this Age

At Christ's Return, only HIS people, (the Church), will be resurrected. All others will wait in the grave until after the 1,000 years. Your time will come in about 1,000 years.

It's the best explanation we can understand.. That in no way means it is the correct explanation.

There is no devil. That you have been duped into fearing the nonexistent is the greatest con religion has pulled on you.

Why is the bible the sole source for this belief?

The bible was assembled by men with an interest in concentrating the power of the church.

Not really sure what your point it. But "OK"!
I should have used my sarcasm sign

The point is they don't really all get along do they?

Ok. That has nothing to do with my point. Competing religions don't get along, ayup. That's true.

But the point of religion, its primary function, is to provide a belief system that communities can subscribe to. It keeps them all on the same page and in (general) agreement. It establish base values.

All that can be done without religion.
