i have no problem with anyone expressing their patriotism. i do have a problem with people using that patriotism to attack people that disagree with them.

i take issue with people 'wrapping themselves in the flag' and using patriotic trappings to avoid criticism of their ideas.

and i hate when people believe that a magnet on their car and an american flag tee shirt means they 'support the troops' and 'love america' and those without them don't.

Then why are people getting fired all over the place for their freedom of speech and opinions?
Why are children being expelled from schools for drawing or having toy guns?
Why are Washington reporters being expelled from the halls of Washington D.C.?
Why are more people getting Government assistance?
This is all leftist extremism. Political Correctness run amok and it has gone way to far.

You need a new definition of "extremist", real leftist extremists are the politically loneliest people in America. There is no equivalent to the really powerful and potentially dangerous extremists who run and belong to the tea party groups.

yep. Obama IS a moderate DESPITE what the rw spin machine is putting out. He has spent less money in recent history since the Korean War. He implemented a HC Plan DEVISED BY THE HERITAGE FOUNDATION (not a liberal bastion BTW ), and he attempted to restrain Wall St from further thievery but what came-out was so watered-down by Republicans & some Dem's as well so as to be ineffectual.

Barack Obama had the most liberal voting record of any Senator before he started running for President. You calling him a "moderate" is laughable!

Do you actually pay Federal Income tax, Occupied? If so what tax bracket are you in? Telling someone who is being forced at the point of a gun (because let's face it...if you don't pay your taxes people with guns eventually come and put you in prison) to hand over a large percentage of the money they have earned so that a bloated and inefficient government can waste it...to shut up and stop complaining, leads me to believe that you aren't giving up YOUR hard earned money in the same way!
