Some people probably just want to be PC and not inadvertently offend someone who is Jewish or some other religion, who knows.

But honestly, I really don't care if people say Merry Christmas OR Happy Holidays, because I see it differently these days...(and probably no one is going to like what I'm about to say) Jesus wasn't even born on December 25, and Christmas has a lot pagan influences, so it's not even a true biblical holiday, it's something the Catholic church came up with.

Don't get me wrong. There's a lot of things I love about the whole Christmas season. I love the Christmas music (but the true meaningful ones, about the birth of Jesus) I love the lights, etc. But I no longer see it as a true biblical holiday, because it isn't.
