Tampax tampons are currently hard to come by at grocery stores in many parts of the country, “with Amazon sellers taking advantage of the shortage.” In January, the outlet reports, one box of 18 Tampax “listed for $114, about $6 more more — per tampon — than women usually pay.” In addition to raging shortage complaints in Reddit threads, a charity that supports homeless women has also seen a “big drop off” in donations of the feminine hygiene product.

That is sort of odd.

If sales are up 7.7% and Profit on them is up 10%, does that mean P&G decide it was a good time to float a percentage point or so of additional GPM into the mix into the popular item, they control the production of?

I'm surprised they aren't blaming Putin. ....
Another paper claims a shortage of fertilizer from Russia & Ukraine caused a cotton shortage, plus droughts also caused cotton shortage. So not enough cotton slowing other tampon brands & generics causing a sales boom for Tampax.

The tampex shortage was caused by the increase of trans men needing them.
