We can of course vote ourselves out of this mess, if we simply make three assumptions first:

1. Fixing education.
2. Criminalizing the use of media as a political tool to effect monolithic political outcomes under that false guise of "news."
3. Flood both parties with fresh, young people both up to and willing to actually do their jobs in Washington.

Now of course, the problem is the likeliness of effecting those three simple things anytime soon in a society based wholly on stupidity, misdirection, and self-destruction.
