The Governor and the gun-controllers in the General Assembly have made yet another misjudgment by coming after the rights of Virginian gun owners! The U.S. Supreme Court has already said that government can’t ban the most popular firearms in America, like the AR-15 and the AK-47.

VCDL and GOA filed our lawsuit against the “Assault Firearm” ban today in Virginia court. Other lawsuits from national organizations have been filed in federal court. And the U.S. Department of Justice has publicly said their lawsuit is also coming.

Luckily, our opponent is “Attoney” General Jay Jones, who will probably file his defense in the wrong court in “Virgina.”

Hopefully it's enjoined before being killed altogether.....Any Virginia members here I encourage to join the VCDL or GOA because if it gets enjoined it often only applies to members of those .orgs at first.

If only that were true.

it is absolutely impossible to soundly argue against the proposition that the AR15 and rifles like it, by virtue of the fact they are in common use for traditionally legal purposes, qualify as a "bearable arm" and thus enjoy the protection of the 2nd Amendment.

Democrats do not care - they just want to ban as many guns as they can and are willing to sell whatever lies they need to do it.
