The question is as to what leads to become biased towards a certain topic, and not if people are biased.

Hitler didn't have a viable education standard - thus one of the many answer he got to hear as to why Germany had lost WWI, were

Emotions and intelligence have nothing to do with each other - since an intelligent person can express a faulty opinion filled with even ridiculous emotions, just as the village idiot.

A persons "supposed" bias, is based on his beliefs/convictions, that can be true or false. - see Hitler.
In the case of the example Zionists/Arab Palestinians it isn't about "bias" - but the "reality", aka FACTS.

The term "biased" means nothing else then: - for someone to behold/express a conviction/opinion that demands proof, if it is viewed as being unfair, wrong or prejudiced by others.
