If one loves God, he loves the Son and the Holy Spirit. Your notional belief in God won't save you from your evil nature.
20 For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come toward the light, so that his works might not be exposed.
21 But whoever lives the truth comes to the light, so that his works may be clearly seen as done in God.
You can say you believe anything. It's your actions that say what you really believe.
“Those who are well do not need a physician, but the sick do. I did not come to call the righteous but sinners.”
Except that is not what Jesus Christ said. (John 3:18) "...he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in
the name of the only begotten Son of God."
If one does not believe in Jesus Christ, he does not come to Jesus Christ Who is the Light. (John 8:12) "Then spake Jesus again unto them saying,
I am the light of the world..."
If one wants to do the works of God, he must first come to Jesus Christ. (John 6:28-29) "Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? Jesus answered and said unto them,
This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent."
One can be a religious person, a good man, one who does many good works and respected in his community. But, if you deny Jesus Christ all that means nothing to God. It will get the praise of men, but not of God. The good that one does without Christ, is just as evil as the bad that one does.
(Rom. 3:10) "As it is written, There is none righteous, no not one:"
And it is written in (Isaiah 64:6) "But we are all as an unclean thing, and all
our righteousness are as filthy rags..."
Not our bad things, but our righteousness is filthy before God. Without being clothed in the Righteousness of Jesus Christ, one stands in his own righteousness. And no matter how good it may appear, it is filthy before God.
(Philippians 3:9) "And be found in him,
not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ,
the righteousness which is of God by faith."
To be 'in Christ' one must believe on Jesus Christ as the Son of God and Saviour. Only then are you covered by His righteousness.
If one really believed Moses he would believe Jesus Christ. (John 5:46) "For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me."
You can say you love God, but if you deny Jesus Christ, you don't love God.
