Trump wasn't around in 2014 when the US got involve with Syria.... and, Obama is not addicted to the spotlight.

Syria did for being terrorists

That is not true.
Syria is not attacking anyone, and the US illegally invaded Syria's sovereignty.
And we can't claim that we are just attacking ISIS that hides in Syria, because ISIS came from Iraq, because we illegally invaded and eliminated the jobs the Sunni Iraqi used to have.
(In fact, I think we secretly armed the Sunni who formed ISIS as well.)
And clearly we are attacking Assad's forces, who never attacked anyone but forces like ISIS.
So in reality, we are illegally defending ISIS by attacking Assad's forces.

Trump pulled us out of the way of a civil conflict and a possible war between Turkey and the Kurds...the military industrial complex raised hell and some generals refused to pull back....some even lied to Trump that the troops were all out but they were not....Trump wants us out of these civil wars and Obama wanted to stick it to Trump via Joe Biden....
That is what is going on...and the further down the road we go it will be more apparent that Joe is not in charge...Obama is....

I bet there are alot of people in Europe that want to kick Obama & Biden's ass for that decision.

Six million Syrian refugees had already fled before the US got involved. Mehr Assad had dropped thousands of barrel bombs on civilians.

Wrong.
The US was ALWAYS involved and was responsible for STARTING the whole civil war in Syria.
It was Hillary's "Arab Spring" concept to wipe out all the legitimate governments in the Mideast, like Saddam, Qaddafi, Assad, Morsi, etc.

Nope.. Severe drought settled on Syria in 2005. The farmers abandoned their farms and moved to the cities with high unemployment and the oil sector finally collapsed. Mehr Assad is in charge and he's as savage as his father Hayfez was. I am surprised you don't know anything about Syria or its history of sectarian strife and assassinations.

Congressional consent??..ever hear of the War Powers Resolution passed in Sept of 2001. Congress gave G.W the power to 'go after Saddam' for 9/11. Voters wanted retribution for 9/11 so stood by and let congress pass some bad legislation. This War Powers Resolution was one, the other was the Patriot Act. The War Powers Resolution pretty much gives POTUS the authority to by pass congress when it comes to initiating military operations against other countries.

Wrong.
The War Powers Act is only for defense from immediate threats before congress has the opportunity to act, and is not for unilateral projections of force as a political strategy.
The War Powers Act requires constant monthly approval by congress.
The constitution does not allow congress to pass any laws that would authorize any aggressive military action.
If congress were to pass such a bill, it would be criminal.
The constitution prohibits it.

Assad had nothing to do with those problems, and starting a civil war can not possibly help those economic problems.
But the rebels suddenly had expensive weapons and new Toyota trucks.
Who was funding them?
Who was Ambassador Stevens meeting in Benghazi, and what was in the CIA annex warehouse there?

The ambassador had dinner with the Turkish envoy, but he was in town to dedicate the new joint venture in emergency services between Mass General and Benghazi Hospital the next morning.

Assad arrested and tortured the schoolboys .. that's when all hell broke loose all over the Syria.

The annex was a communication operation to identify which tribes might support a return to the Idris constitution.

This is just a normal day in the Middle East.......and something we need to stay out of. Both sides in an Islamic War are guilty of war crimes. We shouldn't take sides. That is why we were attacked on 911.
The only real ally we have in the ME is Israel.

When the Soviet Union left the middle east it left a void. Something the globalist Bush Senior took advantage of rather quickly. We have been there now for 30 frigging years in one way or the other. In all that time we have had politicians tell us about the other side and yet they did not do much to deter it themselves. Until Trump tried. The military industrial complex costs us a huge waste in military hardware with a lot of it that is detrimental to real conflict as the programs seem to produce inferior products, tech savvy projects that do not seem to fixable for not years but decades, projects in which the down time for each period of time used is several times more and expensive and crony capitalism with massive cost overruns that is so incredible that we are sewing the seeds of our own destruction as China sees this and is planning for their takeover as the number one nation of the world in a few decades.

The Soviets never had a foothold in the Gulf States or Lebanon.
