Who is right, trump or the two policemen?

It is without doubt that Trump is on both sides of the table and that is a MAJOR problem

But beyond that

Only Congress can authorize this kind of tax payer funded giveaway
Like Congress authorized Biden's $500B debt forgiveness?

Did Congress authorize Obama's Keepseagle settlement? No.

Regardless of “like” this… or like that

Only Congress can do this

And oh by the way… Biden’s loan forgiveness was shot down on those very grounds

As of May 18, 2026, 93 Democratic members of the U.S. House of Representatives filed a motion for leave to file an amicus curiae brief to oppose a proposed settlement in a $10 billion lawsuit brought by Donald Trump against the IRS. The brief argues that the settlement—linked to the leak of tax returns—creates an unlawful $1.7 billion "slush fund" for allies and undermines Congress's constitutional authority.

My mom taught me to be forgiving of the mentally handicapped so I'll leave it at that.

These sick ***** will sign off on anything. They've made that abundantly clear.
When Donald Trump claimed he could "stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody" and not "lose any voters" he wasn't kidding.

It wasn't needed for Keepseagle.

And oh by the way… Biden’s loan forgiveness was shot down on those very grounds
Rightly so, although I'm sure you argued differently at the time.

In this case, the amount is $1.8B, not $500B. A fraction of the Biden plan. When a government agency enters a settlement, then funds can be directed internally to pay that by the agency without Congress getting involved. Otherwise Congress and the president would do nothing but handle this type of minutia.

Two Jan. 6 police officers sue Trump to block $1.8B lawfare fund

Two police officers who defended the U.S. Capitol during the Jan. 6, 2021, riot sued President Donald Trump on Wednesday, seeking to block the $1.8 billion “lawfare” fund set up by the Department of Justice to compensate Trump allies who claim they were victims of prosecutorial overreach.

“In the most brazen act of presidential corruption this century, President Donald J. Trump has created a $1.776 billion taxpayer-funded slush fund to finance the insurrectionists and paramilitary groups that commit violence in his name,” the lawsuit in U.S. District Court in Washington, D.C., says.

“The fund, styled the ‘Anti-Weaponization Fund,’ is illegal,” the suit alleges.

“No statute authorizes its creation, the settlement on which
I don't see any precedent that those officers would have standing.

It is not their fault that the january six defendants were so badly over-prosecuted and over-punished. In fact, xcept for the one who murdered the unarmed woman and, the ones who stood there and watched him do it, most of the capital police did nothing wrong that day.

They were put in a very bad position by nancy pelosi's refusal to allow the national guard in the capitol.

Therefore, the officers will not have to pay any of the settlement. therefore, they have nothing pertaining to themselves to sue over.

Remember, you want to defund the police. Another facile lawsuit by a couple of bums who belong in jail, that will go nowhere. Wonder who is really financing this lawsuit: Nancy or who? After all, she set up J6.

I can only imagine if Biden had done something like this.

That would take a great deal of imagination, considering that Joe could barely tie his own shoes.

Besides, how could Joe create a fund to compensate lawfare victims of J6 when he was the CAUSE of the lawfare in the first place?

There was nothing natural about what happened on J6.
Did the autopsy prove a link between that day and the death of the officer? That's the important question and it's not an emotional argument.

👍See this hyphen - , it's longer than your memory. Biden pardoned loads of family and friends that hadn't been prosecuted for anything, and come out with that post? Your brain is definitely kept in a jam jar.
Biden was protecting them from MAGA lawfare. Thank god for the autopen. 👍
