Who is right, trump or the two policemen?

Malicious prosecution should end in payments to those who are the victim.

The same rule applies to police as to citizens, "if you don't want them to receive money, do not violate their rights".
The problem with that statement is it ignores the fact trump will decide who has had their rights violated. The guy who pardoned the J6 violent criminals. The guy who awarded Ashli Babbit's family $5M after the officer involved in her shooting was cleared of any wrongdoing.

OK, how's this for a response to your ignorant topic---The courts have ruled that Trump was right. That's good enough for me. As for your disagreement with the courts? Meh.
What court? Link please.

Two Jan. 6 police officers sue Trump to block $1.8B lawfare fund

Two police officers who defended the U.S. Capitol during the Jan. 6, 2021, riot sued President Donald Trump on Wednesday, seeking to block the $1.8 billion “lawfare” fund set up by the Department of Justice to compensate Trump allies who claim they were victims of prosecutorial overreach.

“In the most brazen act of presidential corruption this century, President Donald J. Trump has created a $1.776 billion taxpayer-funded slush fund to finance the insurrectionists and paramilitary groups that commit violence in his name,” the lawsuit in U.S. District Court in Washington, D.C., says.

“The fund, styled the ‘Anti-Weaponization Fund,’ is illegal,” the suit alleges.

“No statute authorizes its creation, the settlement on which it is premised is a corrupt sham, and its design violates the Constitution and federal law.”

I'm with the policemen, who still must be seething that members of the J/6 mob were pardoned. You know, members who included those who violently assaulted Capital policemen.

One way or another I hope this abomination of a fund is extinguished before a single dime gets dispensed to those who object to their crimes being punished.
They dont have standing
The Jan 6 prisoners were denied their rights

Do you think Dunn and Hodges are in the right?
I personally don't. I think if people are injured by Govt overreach or abuse they should be able to get some sort of relief, even if it's just a monetary settlement.

There are many instances the left greatly exaggerated what happened on that day. Yes, a few rioters got totally out of control, just as many got totally out of control in BLM riots. For the most part, Jan 6th was a peaceful protest.

I've never seen anything like this. This is pure rage, pure nihilism. Burn it all down, celebrate the destruction, as long as it hurts those you despise.

How miserable do they have to be?
It's gonna take more than voting.

That’s ridiculous. The most corrupt deal was the pardons the J6 thugs got.
See this hyphen - , it's longer than your memory. Biden pardoned loads of family and friends that hadn't been prosecuted for anything, and come out with that post? Your brain is definitely kept in a jam jar.

I don't see how two police officers would have standing to sue here. This doesn't affect them in any way.

The fund was set up is response to a lawsuit by people who were affected by the lawfare. They did have standing to sue and a settlement was reached. You can argue that Trump was sitting on both sides of the table in that settlement, but not that it was not authorized by statute.

I bet Biden deciding to forgive $500 billion is student loan debt is not looking as sweet a deal right now.
It is without doubt that Trump is on both sides of the table and that is a MAJOR problem

But beyond that

Only Congress can authorize this kind of tax payer funded giveaway
